Montmartre, Paris ... Off the Tourist Track
This is a look at the hilly Montmartre area of Paris, with emphasis on the parts of the butte that are off the well-worn tourist track.
I've already made a video that shows the touristy parts of Montmartre, such as Sacré-Cœur basilica and the artists' square (place du Tertre). You can find that on my channel, or there's a link to it at the end of this video. This considerably longer video explores just about everything except those touristy areas. Of course, all of Montmartre (and all of Paris) attracts tourists, but the density of tourists declines by at least a factor of 100 once you are off the beaten track.
There is a great deal to see in Montmartre, and this video cannot do it proper justice in 38 minutes. It's much more interesting to walk through this neighborhood than it is to see a video about it. However, I've tried to capture as much of a reasonable cross-section of Montmartre as I could, for those who don't or won't have the opportunity to see it in person.
The video shows places like the rue Lepic, avenue Junot, place Dalida, rue Cortot, rue Saint Vincent, rue des Trois Frères, rue des Abbesses, rue Caulaincourt, rue Lamarck, the Suzanne Buisson garden, the two main cemeteries on the butte, assorted stairways, other gardens, and points of interest (such as several shooting locations from the movies Amélie and Ronin), and so on.
If this videos seems quiet, that's because Montmartre is a lot quieter than the rest of Paris, since the twisty little streets discourage through traffic.

Saint Martin's Island - Just wonderful! - Part 9
Motorcycle trip Bangladesh. Great time in St Martin's Island
The trip was two months long and I did a little above 13,000km. I was on the territories of Pakistan, India, Nepal and Bangladesh. I had wonderful time there and met so many so many great people. The idea of these video series is to show you the world the way it is. No hard edition, no cinematic effect. I want you to see and feel everything I have experienced there. Before I start the trip I was looking for information about this part of the world and found that there is not enough. I believe that these video series will fill the gap and provide the necessary information for every motorcycle traveler who has these destinations in his mind.

Places to see in ( Paris - France ) Rue Mouffetard Market
Places to see in ( Paris - France ) Rue Mouffetard Market
Rue Mouffetard is a street in the 5th arrondissement of Paris, France. Situated in the fifth (cinquième) arrondissement of Paris, Rue Mouffetard is one of Paris's oldest and liveliest neighbourhoods. These days the area has many restaurants, shops, and cafés, and a regular open market. It is centered on the Place de la Contrescarpe, at the junction of the rue Mouffetard and the rue de Lacepede. Its southern terminus is at the Square Saint-Médard where there is a permanent open-air market. At its northern terminus, it becomes the rue Descartes at the crossing of the rue Thouin. It is closed to normal motor traffic much of the week, and is predominantly a pedestrian avenue.
The rue Mouffetard runs along a flank of the mont Sainte-Geneviève hill that was called mont Cétarius or mont Cetardus from Roman times; many historians consider Mouffetard to be a derivation of this early name. Over the centuries the rue Mouffetard has appeared as rue Montfétard, Maufetard, Mofetard, Moufetard, Mouflard, Moufetard, Moftard, Mostard, and also rue Saint-Marcel, rue du Faubourg Saint-Marceau (street of the suburb Saint-Marceau) and rue de la Vieille Ville Saint-Marcel (old town Saint-Marcel street).
The origins of this thoroughfare are ancient, dating back to Neolithic times. As with today's rue Galande, rue Lagrange, rue de la Montagne Sainte-Geneviève and rue Descartes, it was a Roman road running from the Roman Rive Gauche city south to Italy. From the Middle Ages a church along this section of roadway became centre of a bourg Saint-Médard (Saint-Médard village), and from 1724 was integrated into Paris as the main artery of the Faubourg Saint Médard.
The Diderot family moved at #6 rue Mouffetard in April 1746, where lived also François-Jacques Guillotte, a police officer who wrote an article (Pont militaire) for the Encyclopédie by Diderot. The area remained relatively unchanged because of its location on the Montagne Sainte-Geneviève, which protected it from Baron Haussmann's redevelopment during the reign of Napoleon III.
( Paris - France ) is well know as a tourist destination because of the variety of places you can enjoy while you are visiting Paris . Through a series of videos we will try to show you recommended places to visit in Paris - France

MARSEILLE - France Travel Guide | Around The World
Marseille (Latin: Massilia) is the second most populated city of France (and third most populous urban area) the biggest Mediterranean port and the economic hub of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region.
Marseille has a complex history. It was founded by the Phoceans (from the Greek city of Phocaea, now Foça, in modern Turkey) in 600BC and is one of the oldest cities in Europe. The town is a far cry from the Cézanne paintings and Provençal clichés of sleepy villages, pétanque players and Marcel Pagnol novels. With around one million inhabitants, Marseille is the second largest city in France in terms of population and the largest in terms of area. Its population is a real melting pot of different cultures. It is also said that there are more Comorian people in Marseille than in the Comoros! Indeed, the people of Marseille have varying ethnic backgrounds, with a lot of Italians and Spanish having immigrated to the area after the second world war.
Marseille-Provence International Airport (IATA: MRS) is located about 30km from Marseille. Buses, taxis and now train connect in less than 30 minutes. Shuttle services from other European cities have made more places available from Marseille. Airport buses go directly from airport to the Marseille train station, and from train station to airport, every 15 minutes, for the cost of 8,40 Euro for 1 way, 13 euro return.
The main train station is Marseille St. Charles. It is well-linked to the rest of the city, as the two subway lines and many buses stop there. It is a short walk away from the Canebière and the Old Port. Beware that the station is located on a small hill : if you decide to go the station by foot, you will have to climb a series of steps that could prove very unappealing, especially if you carry heavy pieces of luggage.
Marseille has a big harbour. There are direct ferry routes from Marseille to Ajaccio, Bastia, Porto Torres, Porto Vecchio and Propriano. There are several piers at the harbour, so it is advisable to check well in advance from which pier you are departing.
The port is also an important arrival base for millions of people each year, with 2.4 million including 890,100 from cruise ships. With its beaches, history, architecture and culture (24 museums and 42 theatres), Marseille is one of the most visited cities in France, with 4.1 million visitors in 2012. Marseille is ranked 86th in the world for business tourism and events, advancing from the 150th spot one year before. The number of congress days hosted on its territory increased from 109,000 in 1996 to almost 300,000 in 2011.[citation needed] They take place in three main sites, Le Palais du Pharo, Le Palais des Congrès et des Expositions (Parc Chanot) and the World Trade Center. In 2012 Marseille hosted the World Water Forum. Several urban projects have been developed to make Marseille attractive. Thus new parks, museums, public spaces and real estate projects aim to improve the city cadre de vie (Parc du 26e Centenaire, Old Port of Marseille, numerous places in Euromediterrannee) to attract firms and people. Marseille municipality acts to develop Marseille as a regional nexus for entertainment in the south of France with high concentration of museums, cinemas, theatres, clubs, bars, restaurants, fashion shops, hotels, and art galleries.
Marseille is a city that has its own unique culture and is proud of its differences from the rest of France. Today it is a regional centre for culture and entertainment with an important opera house, historical and maritime museums, five art galleries and numerous cinemas, clubs, bars and restaurants.
Marseille has a large number of theatres, including La Criée, Le Gymnase and the Théâtre Toursky. There is also an extensive arts centre in La Friche, a former match factory behind the Sainst-Charles station. The Alcazar, until the 1960s a well known music hall and variety theatre, has recently been completely remodelled behind its original façade and now houses the central municipal library. Other music venues in Marseille include Le Silo (also a theatre) and GRIM.

South of France 01 - Best of Marseille
Marseille was the first stop in out Provence tour. We were surprised by the diversity of this place, the multi cultural vibes and the big big port. We also found Lokum, the original, exactly as we had in Istanbul, and meet three friendly sailors.
