Top 10 Best Places to Visit in Maine
Located in the easternmost part of New England, Maine is bordered by Canada to the north and the Atlantic Ocean on both the east and south. Maine accounts for almost half of New England’s entire land area. Its northern reaches, known as The Great North Woods, are largely pristine wilderness while the coastal regions, supported over the years by fishing and tourism, are more heavily populated.
While the state is most frequently known for its rugged coastline and proliferation of lighthouses, Maine also has much more to offer. Here, visitors will discover national parks with boundless wildlife as the Thunder Hole. Charming historic towns, perfect examples of quaint little fishing villages, as Bass Harbor, located on Mount Desert Island - home of a large portion of Acadia National Park.

Thor's Well - Landscape Photography
Thor's Well is a cool feature on the Oregon Coast. Along with the Spouting Horn and Cook's Chasm they are great photography opportunities near the town of Yachats. Very cool shoreline with lots of interesting rock formations. We spent a couple days here photographing a variety of scenes.

Visit to Bandon Oregon Part 1 - Bullards Beach SP
On our annual return snowbird RV trip up the Oregon Coast this spring we stopped at a favorite little coastal town called Bandon Bandon-by-the-Sea.
I'm putting together a blog post about our stay which will include a 3 part video playlist showcasing the Bullards Beach State Park we stayed at, the cool little historical town district and of course the wickedly cool beach it is most famous for.
In this first video. I'll show you around the state park we camped in including an old historic lighthouse, the campground, and a hike / dog walk on a trail out to Bullards Beach.

Beautiful Oregon, USA: Oregon Coast Road Trip
America's Largest Sea Cave Grotto
America's largest sea cave or grotto is located on the Oregon coast north of Florence at the famous Sea Lion Caves.
A brand new elevator installed 2 years ago allows you to descend 208 feet into the cave where Steller Sea Lions (and the occasional California sea lion) lives during the winter months.
Discovered in the 1880's this roadside attraction is one of the largest sea caves in the world.
Keep your wheels on the ground!
