Chiloquin is a city in Klamath County, Oregon, United States. Chiloquin was the pioneer version of a Klamath family name Chaloquin, which was the name of a Klamath chief who was alive at the time of the treaty of 1864. Southern Pacific records also show that a woman named Bessie Chiloquin deeded a right-of-way through the area to the railroad on February 14, 1914. The population was 734 at the 2010 census.

Wizard Island is a volcanic cinder cone which forms an island at the west end of Crater Lake in Crater Lake National Park, Oregon. The top of the island reaches 6,933 feet above sea level, about 755 feet above the average surface of the lake. The cone is capped by a volcanic crater about 500 feet wide and 100 feet deep. The crater was named the Witches Cauldron by William Gladstone Steel in 1885, who also gave Wizard Island its name at the same time. The land area of the island is 315.85 acres .

Collier Memorial State Park and Logging Museum - Klamath Falls, Oregon

Traveled to Southern Oregon near Klamath Falls to Collier Memorial State Park and Logging Museum. There is also a small pioneer cabin area at the museum. This is just a great place to spend a few days. The park itself was quiet, clean and spots well spaced. There are hot showers and flush toilets. The creek and river run just beside the park. The park is also within an easy drive to Crater Lake National Park.

Tumalo State Park..
This is one of our absolute favorite State Parks. In this video we take you on a walk around Tumalo State Park and a bit of the sights is Bend.
We made an attempt at hiking Tumalo Falls.. but the snow was just too much to hike in.
If you are in the Old Mill District of Bend be sure to try the Immersion Brewery.. Good food and tasty beers.
