With an arch span of 85 metres , it is the longest stone bridge among train bridges built of stone blocks. It holds the record as later construction technology used reinforced concrete to build bridges. It was originally built in the time of the Secession, between 1900 and 1905, and officially opened in 1906.

    The Kandija Bridge or the Old Bridge is an iron bridge in Novo Mesto, Slovenia. It connects the old city core on the left side of the Krka River with Kandija, a historical suburb of Novo Mesto, on its right side. The bridge stands at the lower part of Main Square. It was built in 1898 to replace the old wooden bridge from 1600, located a few dozen metres upstream. The opening took place on 23 November 1898. The riveted structure bridging the Krka with a single 75-metre arch is a unique structure in Slovenia. Since 1992, it has been protected as a cultural monument. It was renovated in 1977, 1996, and 2009.

As one of the best examples of reinforced concrete bridges and of the Vienna Secession style, the bridge is today protected as a technical monument. It is intended primarily for motorised traffic.

    The Old Bridge , also named the State Bridge , the Main Bridge and the Drava Bridge , is a bridge crossing the Drava River in Maribor, northeastern Slovenia. It links Carinthia Street and Pobrežje Street and is 270 metres long. Its central part, spanning across the Drava, is 166 m long and has three steel arches.The bridge was completed in 1913 and opened to traffic on 23 August of that year. During World War II, it was damaged and later partially rebuilt. The last renovations took place in 1990 and 1998.

It is located in front of Trnovo Church at the end of Karun Street to the south of the city centre and is a continuation of Emona Street . It connects the neighborhoods of Krakovo and Trnovo, the oldest Ljubljana suburbs, known for their market gardens and cultural events. A bridge has stood on the site since the late 17th century. The modern bridge was built between 1928 and 1932 by the constructor Matko Curk upon the plans of the architect Jože Plečnik. It is distinguished by its width and the trees that it bears. It is the most prominent object of Plečnik's renovation of the banks of the Gradaščica.
