Why You Should Visit Colorado NOW! Gunnison National Forest
On our first day in Western Colorado, we explored the Gunnison National Forest. We hiked to Judd Creek Falls and then headed up to the gorgeous Emerald Lake. On our way, we saw a few guys making the most out of a little remaining snow by building a snowboard ramp and ripping some sweet flips off of it. We found some great things to do near Gunnison and Crested Butte Colorado.

Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park in western Colorado is one of hidden treasures of the North America. This canyon is called Black because some parts of the gorge only receive 33 minutes of sunlight a day. The canyon is incredibly steep, it’s more than 2000 feet tall and it is probably one of the deepest and narrowest canyons I have ever seen in my life.

Ce n'est pas le site le plus visité de l'ouest américain, nous y avons rencontré peu de visiteurs, pourtant ce parc est bien différent des sites classiques plus connus, il vaut le détour et surprend par ses parois noirâtres et vertigineuses. A proximité, en peu à l'Est, les lacs artificiels de Mesa Blue, avec leurs beaux paysages...
