Puerto Rico Cabo Rojo Beach. Caribbean holidays with lobster lunch
Thanks to: @senorburger2018
Im not renting a car from airport because the prices are too High. On internet I found EZ Hire company which has got free shuttle bus to get me there. The prices are more affordable.
im leaving the city with the plan to head WEST in to PONCE area,
Welcome to another vlog and another great experience. This is first episode on the tour around the Puerto Rico to find perfect 10 out of 10 beach, also you will see how to prepare and cook lobster and how to fully relax your time at the beach. Renting a car at the San Juan airport is expensive im choosing EZ Car rental company which provide free shouttle bus and only 5 min drive from airport
Capital San Juan do not have any attractions to offer. I do like nature and discovering new places. Today im driving around the costa and heading to Ponce wich is located on the West part of the island. I do like driving along the coast because you can stop anytime when you see a beach. There are many interesting places and sometime you can get lucky to find a beautiful beach which is not describe on internet or tourist guide
I do not have to drive far and see access to another beach which which is Playa Dorada in translation Golden Beach. This beach is located 20 miles heading West from San Juan. For the location and easy access I can easy give it 6/10. I’m not spending here much time because I’m sure Puerto Rico has got better places to offer. My search for 10 out of 10 beach continue.
I did look at the google sat nav and spoted a beach with unusual shape, it is not easy to get to but finally im happy to be here. The name is Playa Chiuquita in translation Tyny Beach.I’ve never been in beach with a shape like this. I see many positives here. be careful to access to water from the rock becasue it is slippery.
I do like to talk to local people, you can always get good advice where to go or what to be aware of. Playa Chiquita is a great beach to visit. I recommend but to come here during the weekdays becasue it is just too crowded at weekends. Time to give it a rate. 7 out of 10 it is my personal opinion.
I have a fresh lobster but to make it very tasty I need to buy some ingredients.I’m happy that I came to this beach, it is ticking all the boxes for me and on the top of that I will make my own lunch directly at the sea front.
Now you are going to experiance that it is possible to go to the beach and make you own lunch without knowing anybody. For some people this might be strange but for me it is a regular day. I’ve asked some random people if I can use their BBQ and they said Yes. This is how friendly people are in Puerto Rico.
I’m shearing my food with new friends from SR BURGER Restaurant. The BBQ at the beach was not giving enough temperature and cooking was too slow. Im making the other lobster here at the bar and soon will take to eat it at the beach. I’m leaving this beautiful beach and im happy to give it good 9 out of 10. My search for the 10 out of 10 is still on. Stay tuned to experience the best beach with me.

10 Best Sights to See in Puerto Rico
The island of Puerto Rico is a U.S. territory that draws travelers from around the globe with its postcard-worthy beaches, lush rainforests, colonial towns and piña coladas. Here are 10 sights to see in Puerto Rico, just to get you dreaming.
1. El Morro
Many tourists flock to El Morro, a cliff-top fortress built in 1539. Visitors can enjoy panoramic views, stroll through the stone corridors, barracks, and tunnels and step back into another time. Don’t miss the doodles on the dungeon walls.
2. Vieques
Isla de Vieques has breathtaking beaches. Formerly a U.S. Navy base, today it is a wildlife reserve. Vieques is a magnet for ecotourists who prefer a laid-back, low-key, relatively undeveloped escape. Don’t miss the luminescent waters of Mosquito Bay.
3. Old San Juan
The colonial center of Puerto Rico’s enchanting capital is brimming with historic architecture, museums, restaurants and nightlife. The cobblestone streets are lined with colorful homes with decorative wrought iron terraces. Shady plazas are flanked by open-air cafes and craft shops. You’ll find the tomb of Ponce de León at the glorious Cathedral of San Juan Bautista.
4. El Yunque National Forest
Come here to explore the mountainous jungle’s beautiful waterfalls, crags, rivers and amazing dwarf forest. You can also spot rare birds, frogs and Taíno petroglyphs here. Various trails and paved paths offer a range of hiking excursions for all ability levels. Located less than an hour east of San Juan, this region makes a fun day trip or even an overnight camping trip.
5. Flamenco Beach
Located on the small island of Culebra. Many visitors to Puerto Rico will charter a vessel to sail the twenty miles to this island paradise. There are some amenities there, so you can grab a bite or a drink and make a day of it or stay in one of the vacation villas, or campground nearby.
6. Camuy River Cave Park
It is a scenic subterranean site on Puerto Rico’s northwestern coast. The cave park is filled with stalagmites, stalactites and incredible natural architecture. Visitors can boat along the Camuy River, the third-largest subterranean river on the planet, to tour the caves’ interior attractions.
7. Isla Palominos
It’s a private island an 8 minute ferry ride away, but the El Conquistador resort there welcomes day visitors. Scuba diving, kayaking and horseback riding along the beach are popular pastimes. You can also charter a glass-bottomed boat to enjoy the crystalline beauty of the sea here.
8. Arecibo Observatory
It is the world’s largest radio telescope. However, you don’t have to be an astronomy buff to come here. The visitors center does a good job of explaining some of its scientific achievements, including attempts to communicate with possible extraterrestrial life.
9. Museo de Arte de Ponce
Located in the city of Ponce on the island’s southern coast, this art museum contains fourteen galleries and a world-famous collection of Pre-Raphaelite art. Both European and Latin American artists are well represented.
10. Bioluminescent Bay
One of the most stellar sights to see in Puerto Rico is the bioluminescent waters found in a few special lagoons in Fajardo, Vieques and Lajas. Special plankton here glow when stirred, so if you swim around at night, it’s like an enchanting fairyland of starry sparks.

Visiting Puerto Rico: Cabo Rojo
Chris and I went to down to Puerto Rico to attend his cousins wedding. We flew out of John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) with JetBlue Airways to Rafael Hernández Airport (BQN) which is located in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. During our 2 days we were able to explore the Cabo Rojo region of the island. We visited Cabo Rojo beach also known as Playa Sucia which is located right next to the Faro Los Morrillos de Cabo Rojo which is the famous lighthouse. We also got to check out Combate Beach which is a 15 minute drive from Playa Sucia and had a drink and a bite to eat at the near by restaurant by the name of Annie’s Place. We visited Boqueron Beach which was very quiet due to the fact that there was lots of construction happening in the surrounding areas. We were able to stop at a stand where we purchased fresh clams and oysters. I would come back in a year or two to see the progress of the town and their new renovations. If you decide to go to any of these beaches I would suggest bringing a cooler of drinks, a nice speaker with some music playing, beach chairs and an umbrella. You won’t regret it for a second.
