Jayuya is a municipality of Puerto Rico located in the mountainous center region of the island, north of Ponce; east of Utuado; and west of Ciales. Jayuya is spread over 10 wards and Jayuya Pueblo . It is the principal city of the Jayuya Micropolitan Statistical Area. Named after the Taino tribal leader, Hayuya, Jayuya is known for its skilled wood carvers. Among its monuments are the statue of Nemesio Canales and the bust of Hayuya, both by the Puerto Rican sculptor Tomás Batista.

Luquillo is a municipality of Puerto Rico located in the northeast coast, northwest of Fajardo; and east of Rio Grande. Luquillo is spread over 5 wards and Luquillo Pueblo . It is part of the Fajardo Metropolitan Statistical Area. The city of Luquillo is 26 square miles and it sits on 12 miles of Atlantic coastline. It is nestled between the blue waters of the Atlantic and the El Yunque National Forest, a rainforest, giving it a diverse and unique ecology. High flying aerostatic balloon inaugurated on Puerto Rico mountaintop
First Aerostatic Balloon of Puerto Rico and the Caribbean located in Barrio Mameyes in the Agro-Touristic Project of the Autonomous Municipality of Jayuya.
From the Mameyes neighborhood of Jayuya, at Hacienda Santa Marina on the Cumbre Alta hill. The hill is 3,200 feet above sea level. The Hot Air Balloon rises about 500 feet to reach 3,700 feet above sea level. From there you have a 360-degree panoramic view.
