As far back as I can remember, this is the first song I ever heard. I am still mesmerized by its colors. - Dwight Lewis

The Cure are an English rock band formed in Crawley, West Sussex, in 1976. The band has experienced several line-up changes, with vocalist, guitarist and principal songwriter Robert Smith being the only constant member. The Cure first began releasing music in the late 1970s with its debut album Three Imaginary Boys. Their second single, Boys Don't Cry, became a hit; this, along with several early singles, placed the band as part of the post-punk and new wave movements that had sprung up in the wake of the punk rock revolution in the United Kingdom. During the early 1980s, the band's increasingly dark and tormented music helped form the gothic rock genre.
After the release of 1982's Pornography, the band's future was uncertain and Smith was keen to move past the gloomy reputation his band had acquired. With the single Let's Go to Bed released the same year, Smith began to place a pop sensibility into the band's music (as well as a unique stage look). The Cure's popularity increased as the decade wore on, especially in the United States where the songs Just Like Heaven, Lovesong and Friday I'm in Love entered the Billboard Hot 100 chart. By the start of the 1990s, the Cure were one of the most popular alternative rock bands in the world. The band is estimated to have sold 27 million albums as of 2004. The Cure have released thirteen studio albums, ten EPs and over thirty singles during their career.
Disintegration is the eighth studio album by the band, released on 2 May 1989 by Fiction Records. The record marks a return to the introspective and gloomy gothic rock style the band had established in the early 1980s. As he neared the age of thirty, vocalist and guitarist Robert Smith had felt an increased pressure to follow up on the group's pop successes with a more enduring work. This, coupled with a distaste for the group's newfound popularity, caused Smith to lapse back into the use of hallucinogenic drugs, the effects of which had a strong influence on the production of the album. The Cure recorded Disintegration at Hookend Recording Studios in Checkendon, Oxfordshire, with co-producer David M. Allen from late 1988 to early 1989. During production, founding member Lol Tolhurst was fired from the band.
In spite of Fiction's fears that the album would be commercial suicide, Disintegration became the band's commercial peak. It charted at number three in the United Kingdom and at number twelve in the United States, and produced several hit singles including Lovesong, which peaked at number two on the Billboard Hot 100. Disintegration remains The Cure's highest selling record to date, with more than three million copies sold worldwide. Disintegration was greeted with a warm critical reception before later being acclaimed, eventually being placed at number 326 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time. Stephen Thomas Erlewine of AllMusic called it the culmination of all the musical directions The Cure were pursuing over the course of the '80s.

What is Paintballing?
Paintball is a fun activity, loosely based on army tactics, to encourage team participation and management.
Each game is totally different, as we have a massive range of concepts and scenarios to act out.
eg. grab the other team's flag and bring it back to base... first team to do so wins the game.
Naturally, some of the participants will want to rush over to the other side and charge in, some will enjoy hiding and being snipers, and some will want to stay behind and protect their own base flag.
This is a FUN activity regardless of weather, age or gender.
and the best part is, nobody gets hurt!
Balls filled with Paint are fired from the compressed air guns, and when they hit the opponent (or more likely, the various protective items they hide behind), the paint pellets break open & splat a small amount of coloured paint onto the protective clothing that we supply.
We also supply full face masks and gloves.
