Corbin is a home rule-class city in Whitley and Knox counties in the southeastern portion of the U.S. state of Kentucky. The urbanized area around Corbin extends into Laurel County; this area is not incorporated into the city limits due to a state law prohibiting cities from being in more than two counties. However, this area is served by some of the city's public services. As of the 2010 census, the city population was 7,304, with 21,132 living in the urban cluster that includes Corbin and North Corbin.

2. Natural Bridge State Resort Park Slade
Natural Bridge State Resort Park is a Kentucky state park located in Powell and Wolfe Counties along the Middle Fork of the Red River, adjacent to the Red River Gorge Geologic Area and surrounded by the Daniel Boone National Forest. Its namesake natural bridge is the centerpiece of the park. The natural sandstone arch spans 78 ft and is 65 ft high. The natural process of weathering formed the arch over millions of years. The park is approximately 2,300 acres of which approximately 1,200 acres is dedicated by the Office of Kentucky Nature Preserves as a nature preserve. In 1981 this land was dedicated into the nature preserves system to protect the ecological communities and rare species habitat. 3. Cumberland Gap National Historical Park Middlesboro
The Cumberland Gap is a narrow pass through the long ridge of the Cumberland Mountains, within the Appalachian Mountains, near the junction of the U.S. states of Kentucky, Virginia, and Tennessee. Famous in American colonial history for its role as a key passageway through the lower central Appalachians, it was an important part of the Wilderness Road and is now part of the Cumberland Gap National Historical Park. Long used by Native Americans, the Cumberland Gap was brought to the attention of settlers in 1750 by Thomas Walker, a Virginia physician and explorer. The path was used by a team of frontiersmen led by Daniel Boone, making it accessible to pioneers who used it to journey into the western frontiers of Kentucky and Tennessee.

Cumberland Falls is a great place to have fun, hike, swim, and do all kinds of outdoor activities.
Moonbow is a special thing that happens from the moon and the falls. The moon makes a rainbow in the falls. It was amazing to see with my own eyes and unfortunately I couldn't get it on camera but it was kind of best that way because I got to focus on it with my whole mind!

PuH-SODE 10: PADUCAH, KY

The countless roadside billboards had our curiosity running rabid. What kind of masterpieces may be housed in the world famous National Quilt Museum? We couldn't miss the opportunity to find out, so we took the exit and headed towards the beautiful river town of Paducah, KY. After a walk along the history of this great, American town, and witnessing a levitating man, we headed to the pride and joy of Paducah: the national quilt museum. After wooing the receptionist, it was off to another VIP tour from the CEO himself. Seeing the most prestigious threads from all around the world, left us in an artistic trance and contemplating whether quilt sewing may be our true calling. After a multi-hour stay we waved goodbye to our new friends.

Green River Lake State Park Kentucky

Green River Lake State Park is near Campbellsville Kentucky. It has a very large camping area to accommodate more than 200 RVs and tents. The lake is truly beautiful and perfect for boating. The lake is the highlight of the park.

Whispering Hills RV Park

#thearkcampgrounds #georgetownkycamping #whisperinghillsrv We traveled to Georgetown, KY for some late winter touring. Our stop for the week took us to Whispering Hills RV Park, located off exit 129 and I-75. This is a very nice destination RV park and one of the few in the area. It's a large campground that's big rig friendly, offering basic and premium spaces along with lots next to a pond and playground area with a pretty view of farm hills in the background.

For the big rig space, we had full hook up and 50 amps. There's no wifi or cable, but excellent off-air channels from nearby Lexington and all the major cellular carriers provide a strong signal.

There's much to do in the area: The Ark Encounter, tour the largest Toyota plant in the world, Bourbon tours, horse parks, and so much more.
