Dénia , is a historical coastal city in the province of Alicante, Spain, on the Costa Blanca halfway between Alicante and Valencia, and the capital and judicial seat of the comarca of Marina Alta. Considered to be one of the most beautiful and culturally rich cities in Spain; Denia has an immense historical heritage, with Iberian, Greek, Roman, Islamic, Napoleonic and Christian civilizations having all left their mark. As of 2014, it had a population of 41,672, although this can be more than doubled by tourism during the summer months.

    Natural Park of Penyal d'Ifac is a natural park situated in Calpe , in the autonomous community of Valencia, Spain. The Penyal d'Ifac is a massive limestone outcrop emerging from the sea and linked to the shore by rock debris. It is home to numerous rare plants, including a number of endemic species, and over 300 species of animals, and a nesting site for colonies of sea birds and other birds. Rising to 332 metres high, the rock is a striking visual feature of the Mediterranean coastline.
