Falcade is a comune in the Province of Belluno in the Italian region Veneto, located about 110 kilometres northwest of Venice and about 35 kilometres northwest of Belluno. Falcade borders the following municipalities: Canale d'Agordo, Moena, Rocca Pietore, Soraga, Tonadico. Falcade is one the edge of the Trevalli Ski Area: 100 kilometres of slopes stretching between Veneto and Trentino regions which in turn is part of the Dolomite Super Ski area. It is also popular in the summer with walkers and mountain bikers. Landmarks include the Church of Falcade, the Focobon massif and the Mount Mulaz .

  • 1. Ponte degli Alpini Bassano Del Grappa
    The Ponte Vecchio or Ponte degli Alpini is the covered wooden pontoon bridge designed by the architect Andrea Palladio in 1569. The bridge is located in Bassano del Grappa and was destroyed many times, the last time in World War II. The bridge spans the river Brenta. The Brenta river was an important means of communication in the 18th century from the mountains of Grappa to Venice.
