Felanitx(oficialmente y en catalán Felanitx) es una ciudad de la comunidad autónoma de Islas Baleares, España. Situado al sudeste de la isla de Mallorca y en lacomarca del Migjorn. Colinda con Santañy, Campos, Porreras, Villafranca de Bonany y Manacor. El nombre de Felanich, proviente del procede del latín, Fenales, que significa terrenos de heno y se corresponde a la castellana Henares.
Los puntos más altos del municipio son:
San Salvador (509 metros). En este monte hay un monasterio del mismo nombre.
Sa Comuna (429 metros).
Castillo de Santueri (408 metros). En la cima de este monte hay un castillo de montaña, utilizado antes de la conquista de la isla por parte de Jaime I de Aragón.

Felanitx (officially Felanitx and Catalan) is a city in the autonomous community of Balearic Islands, Spain. Located southeast of the island of Mallorca and the Migjorn lacomarca. Santañy abuts, Campos, Porreras, Villafranca de Bonany and Manacor. Felanich name, proviente's from Latin, Fenales, meaning land of hay and corresponds to the Castilian Henares.
The highest points in the city are:
San Salvador (509 meters). In this mountain there is a monastery of the same name.
Sa Commune (429 meters).
Santueri Castle (408 meters). On top of this mountain is a mountain castle, used before the conquest of the island by Jaime I of Aragon.
The team led Burgos Street Challenger all but the involvement of such great fans made it a great test enriching at all times.

Playa Cala Mitjana de Felanitx

Inmitten eines Waldes liegt der idyllische kleine Strand Cala Mitjana. Er ist nicht ganz einfach zu erreichen. Ab dem Parkplatz der Nachbarbucht Cala Sa Nau beginnt eine gut zwei Kilometer lange Wanderung. Man geht zuerst ein Stückchen den Weg zurück und folgt dann der Beschilderung. Über einen steinigen, holprigen Serpentinenweg geht es die Küste entlang - dabei sollte man vorsichtig sein, nicht zu stürzen. Aber der Weg lohnt sich: In einer traumhaften, grünen Kulisse findet man einen wenig besuchten Sandstrand. Die Felswände und der Pininwald schützen vor dem Wind. Und in dem kristallklaren, blauen Wasser kann man herrlich tauchen oder schnorcheln.

Wild Cicadas chirp, the fragrance of pine trees, sparkling sunshine, sky high wild cliffs, below among the pines the turquoise blue bay and the white sand, eagles circle around the peak. The coast of the Mediterranean Sea is full of beautiful beaches, each can be loved for a different reason but there are few so special as La Calobra. The fascinating ground rock basin is like a stadium. Inside there is a pebbly beach created by the rolling estuary of a wild stream, it is a bit like a scenery of spectacular rest room films. If you want to skip the tiring climb you can get there in two different ways from Soller, a more than 30 kilometer long steep road full of 360 degree turns, the so-called snake serpentine leads here. Rail built pedestrian tunnels lead from the parking lot to the beach. The other possibility is the voyage from the harbor of Soller promising totally different sites. However we come, we will experience the most interesting swimming experience of our life. But when high season we have to share this with a few hundred other people.
If we observe the sunset here, and it gets dark on us, we find not only good restaurants around the parking place but familiar small guest houses as well. We can have beautiful trips in the wild and romantic land.

Cala Marcal is a beach only one kilometer from Portocolom. This is a spacious beach and fully protected from waves and wind. It is the largest beach in Portocolom and is usually frequented by tourists staying in nearby hotels.
Suitable for anchoring boats has a sandy bottom in the central and rocks and algae in the sides. It is situated by sea outside the bay of Porto Colom within 1.3 km. The access by car is easy from anywhere. In the surrounding area will find restaurants, bars, hotels and souvenirs.
The largest and nicest beach in Porto Colom is Cala Marcal, which is located in the southern part of town. The beach is located inside a beautiful bay with rocks on both sides. Here the fine-grained sand beach is well protected against waves and undercurrents.
