Danke an die Schmitten für die Einladung zur Cold Water Challenge (hier springen Gruppen in kaltes Wasser). Wir nominieren: IRONMAN Austria, TVB Saalbach & SalzburgerLand Tourismus. Der Zeller See war übrigens gar nicht so kalt ;) Geschäftsführerin Renate Ecker beteiligt sich in diesem Zuge an der Ice Bucket Challenge, wobei wir auch für ALS-Betroffene spenden. Danke auch an die Freges für die Unterstützung im Strandbad Zell.

We would like to share with you one of our recommended hotels in Austria
The Hotel & Villa Auersperg in Salzburg
Although, not located at the heart of old Salzburg, the lovely Auersperg hotel is distanced by a ten minute walk along the characterful old Linzer Gasse and the Staatsbrücke (bridge). Reasonably priced it is the welcome that mediates the location (and if traveling by car there is also the incredible benefit of complimentary off-street parking). We have actually recommended for years another hotel owned by a member of the same family, the Alpine Spa Hotel Haus Hirt in Badgastein.
Bettina, complimented by the creative architectural genius of her husband, Mark, have artfully renovated two neighboring buildings that were originally built by her grandparents. The contrasting facades of the two buildings belie the fact that they were both built in ______. The hotel is housed in the building with the more modern façade and the villa retains the original sculpted ornate façade of the _______ period.
The reception is located in the hotel. Here you will also find an intimate bar where you can enjoy a drink or light meals such as a salad or sandwich and the breakfast room where a bountiful buffet is generously offered each morning. Guestrooms are handsome in soft muted colors; enjoy modern amenities but are intimate in size. Our room, the bed was cleverly separated from a sitting area by a built-in armoire and had the benefit of a separate toilet and bathroom. Capping the hotel is a spectacular roof top spa accessed by a door off the third floor. Climb a final stair to be rewarded by a room filled with light and expanse of window that expose the surrounding views. Sauna, lounge and chairs.
Rooms in the neighboring villa enjoy the luxury of more space. Again, the décor was appealing with soft muted colors. Rich fabrics in solid colors compliment the subtle elegance.
Bettina is a beautiful hostess is also a wonderful mother of three boys. When she is not present her team has picked up on her infectious warmth, attention to detail and commitment to professional service.
