Living Legends is a nonprofit equine charity located at 207 Oaklands Road in Woodlands Homestead at Woodlands Historic Park in Greenvale near Melbourne, Australia. Opened to the public on 31 October 2006, the organization's primary activity is bringing champion racehorses back to the people; but it also supports the care of older horses, equine research, education and training to benefit horses of any age or breed. The Dandenong Ranges are a set of low mountain ranges, rising to 633 metres at Mount Dandenong, approximately 35 km east of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. The ranges consist mostly of rolling hills, steeply weathered valleys and gullies covered in thick temperate rainforest, predominantly of tall Mountain Ash trees and dense ferny undergrowth. After European settlement in the region, the range was used as a major source of timber for Melbourne. The ranges were popular with day-trippers from the 1870s onwards. It was named in 1802 after the British politician and colonial administrator Sir Evan Nepean by John Murray in HMS Lady Nelson. Its coast and adjacent waters are included in the Port Phillip Heads Marine National Park, while its land area is part of the Point Nepean National Park. Decending the Kuranda Range

This is an old video I just found on my computer of me driving down the Kuranda Range one morning with a loaded fridge van on. Truck was a K104 fitted with a 500hp S60 detroit and 18 speed. You can hear that I'm on the Jake nearly the entire way. Video is sped up so it don't take so long. Within a month I'll be back doing this again so good to see this and remember the corners......Haha!
