About Rothenburg: Rothenburg is a very traditional and romantic town. The „Reiterlesmarkt between the St. Jacobs church and the „Grüner Markt (green market) is one of the most famous markets in Germany. It is the ultimate German winter fairytale. This fabulous Christmas market has been a firm fixture on the town's calendar ever since the 15th century. Little has changed over time -- with the emphasis still on eating, drinking and shopping -- they certainly know how to celebrate in Rothenburg and don't miss shopping at Käthe Wohlfahrt!
