FRANCE HOLIDAY PART 3 | A NEOLITHIC DOLMEN AND LA ROCHE L'ABEILLE VILLAGE

In part 3 of my series documenting my family holiday in France, I explore a Neolithic (Stone Age) Dolmen on the outskirts of a tiny village called La Roche L' Abeille. There are loads of these dotted all over the world, this being the second time I have explored one myself, the first being Kitt's Coty House in Kent.

We then drove into the village for a wander around to explore, including the parish church and stopped for a drink in the local cafe/ bar. Once again, the weather was lovely, perhaps a little too hot at times!

In part 4 of my family holiday in France, we visited a small village near to where we were staying that has a rich and turbulent history, Chateau Chervix and it's imposing stone tower, the remains of a once mighty stronghold.

First floor: There are three bedrooms on this level and a bathroom behind the main bedroom. The rooms are around 8msq, 13msq, and 13msq. All ceilings are on the slant as this area is within the roof.
Outside: Behind the house is the sunken swimming pool measuring 9 x 5 meters. This is set in a clean and tidy terrace area. The gardens and lakes cover an area of around 8000msq. The two lakes which are to the side of the house are stream fed and simply teaming with fish. Just outside the house at the end of the long driveway leading to it is the outside wood store/workshop area.
This is just a wonderful property with character, style, charm, seclusion and outside activities all on the doorstep. Don't wait this will go quickly.
