Top Hotels In Macau China | Must Do Travels
Macau is like Las Vegas and Dubai had a baby, and oh is it wonderful. What was once a Portuguese colony on the Chinese mainland, has since been returned to China and operates as a semi-autonomous government, much like Hong Kong. Here you will find some of the world’s most luxurious hotels, as well as some of the largest casinos in the entire world.
You don’t have to like to gamble to spend some time in Macau, but it sure wouldn’t hurt to keep things interesting. Some of the resorts on our list offer among the highest level of amenities you can find, and they are all a great place to get away and treat yourself to a taste of the good life. These are our picks for the Top 5 Hotels in Macau:
5. PARISIAN
To kick off our list at number 5 is The Parisian Macao which boasts a ½ sized reconstruction of the Eiffel Tower. Having only been open for a couple years now, this has recently become one of the top hotels that tourists look forward to staying at. Even if you don’t book your stay here, and opt instead for one of the other hotels on our Top 5 list, you can still wander around this property and take in the sights and sounds that almost transport you right onto the streets of France.
This hotel features 3,000 guest rooms, and cost more than $2.5 Billion to build. Inside you can find more than 150 retail shops, a convention space, and even a performing arts theater than can seat over 1,200 people.
4. VENETIAN MACAU
Coming in at #4 on our list is the Venetian Macao Resort. This version of the Venetian is themed just like its Las Vegas counterpart, but on a MUCH larger scale. The 39-story hotel has a total square footage of more than 10 and a half million square feet inside, making it one of the largest buildings on Earth. There is even a sports arena on site than can seat more than 15,000 fans for popular concerts and sporting events.
On-site you will find 3,000 guest rooms, as well as luxurious private suites among the top floors, and they even have their own private Cirque du Soliel show called Zaia. Inside you will also find a reconstruction of the canals of Venice Italy where you can hire a Gondola to ride around in style and sightsee. This makes the resort one of the most popular places in all of Macao for tourists to get in their photo ops.
3. MGM COTAI
Right in the middle at number 3 is the MGM Cotai. This modern and luxurious property cost about $3.5 Billion to build, and it reflects that level quality in its facilities and amenities. You can walk through the many art collections housed inside the MGM Cotai, as well as book reservations to see a couple of the unique performances that they have on permanent residence in their theaters.
Although this hotel may have costed considerably more than the other hotels we have mentioned so far on our list, it is significantly smaller in size having barely more than 1,500 guest rooms in total. That makes it about half the size of the Parisian and the Venetian. Unlike some of the other properties you may find in Macao that cater to a more traditional Asian audience, the MGM Cotai was specifically designed to appeal to travelers from all around the globe.
2. WYNN PALACE - MACAU
Coming in at a well-deserved 2nd place is the Wynn Palace. Steve Wynn practically kicked started the modern Macao experience when he opened his first Wynn hotel here back in 2006. Since then the resort developer has created additional properties to keep up with the ever-growing demand for luxury accommodations on the Cotai Strip. Even though the Wynn name was already synonymous with “luxury”, the Wynn Palace takes that expectation to a whole other level in Macao. This 1,700 room property cost almost $4.5 Billion to build, making it the most expensive hotel on our list. If you want to see a hotel that is decorated to the gills, you’ve got to check this one out.
1. GALAXY MACAU
After working our way through the other hotels on this top 5 list, it might be hard to imagine anything getting more extravagant than what we have seen already, but there’s more. Topping off the list and earning the #1 spot is the Galaxy Macau. The Galaxy is a site to behold, and has many intriguing works of art on display, as well as relaxing pools and waterpark too. This hotel has continued to grow in size since it was originally constructed, and the Galaxy continues to increase its earnings in recent years.
Some of the restaurants inside the Galaxy Macau are rated among the best in the world. In a city that has recently become quite well known for its extravagance, it is getting ever increasingly difficult to outdo the last hotel.

Top 10 Hotels in Macau
Macau or Macao (/məˈkaʊ/ (About this soundlisten); Chinese: 澳門, Cantonese: [ōu.mǔːn]; Portuguese: Macau), officially the Macao Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China, is an autonomous territory on the western side of the Pearl River estuary in East Asia. Along with Hong Kong, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, and several other major cities in Guangdong, the territory forms a core part of the Pearl River Delta metropolitan region. With a population of 650,900[3] in an area of 30.5 km2 (11.8 sq mi), it is the most densely populated region in the world.
Macau was formerly a colony of the Portuguese Empire, after Ming China leased the territory as a trading post in 1557. Originally governing under Chinese authority and sovereignty, Portugal was given perpetual occupation rights for Macau in 1887. Macau remained under Portuguese control until 1999, when it was returned to China. As a special administrative region, Macau maintains a separate political and economic system apart from mainland China.[5] The People's Republic of China's obligation to run Macau as a special administrative region, per the Joint Declaration on the Question of Macau, expires on 20 December 2049.
A hotel is an establishment that provides paid lodging on a short-term basis. Facilities provided may range from a modest-quality mattress in a small room to large suites with bigger, higher-quality beds, a dresser, a refrigerator and other kitchen facilities, upholstered chairs, a flat screen television, and en-suite bathrooms. Small, lower-priced hotels may offer only the most basic guest services and facilities. Larger, higher-priced hotels may provide additional guest facilities such as a swimming pool, business centre (with computers, printers, and other office equipment), childcare, conference and event facilities, tennis or basketball courts, gymnasium, restaurants, day spa, and social function services. Hotel rooms are usually numbered (or named in some smaller hotels and B&Bs) to allow guests to identify their room. Some boutique, high-end hotels have custom decorated rooms. Some hotels offer meals as part of a room and board arrangement. In the United Kingdom, a hotel is required by law to serve food and drinks to all guests within certain stated hours.[citation needed] In Japan, capsule hotels provide a tiny room suitable only for sleeping and shared bathroom facilities.

The Parisian Macao - A Grand French Themed Hotel Resort In Macau, China
Originally designed to be an integrated resort depicting France and Paris, The Parisian Macao is a mega hotel situated right at the middle of the Macao Cotai Strip in Macau, China. It’s easily one of the best destinations in all of Macau due to the sheer variety of amusements and entertainment, shopping that it provides, along with the luxurious stay. There’s lot of street performances on the side walk of the inner hotel compund which will make you stay there for a long time as they are so very nice. A giant tower that looks almost like the Paris Eiffel Tower rests just beside the Hotel building inside the complex and is an added attraction. People can climb up the top deck and have a full view of entire Macau city in 360. The tower lightens up during night and it’s a magically bright sight. Watch when the host walks on the road opposite to the Hotel at the beginning of the video to see what we’re talking about.
Once you’re checking in, the interiors give you a total culture switch. It’s just as if you boarded the French supersonic express to reach Paris, France in minutes. The drawings on the ceiling are beautifully done like in any historic place in France, the staff inside give you similar feeling, the music performances, especially the guy with the Accordion absolutely smashes his performance. Karuna transforms into Cinderella and moves and grooves like you’ve never seen before to the music. Then she’s accompanied by the Hotel staff to her’s and the crew’s accommodation. A quick look at the room, it’s fantastically 5 star or more. From the room you can have a hindsight view of the Eiffel Tower replica which can make your stay in that room even more pleasant. The rooms in the hotel and family friendly with kid bunk beds arranged beautifully. The queen bed is impossible to miss as well.
Once you get around the hotel, you’ll see many more things to do other than the walk by street and the Eiffel Tower. There’s a full scale economic shopping round the corner, a Kids special Qube Kingdom that is a huge play area with everything in there, a water world and a spa to relax. The sister hotel Venetian is few yards away so are other prominent hotels in the area. The site is extremely close to the International Airport as well and it feels good to be in one of the cleanliest Hotels in Macau. We at Vihari had a very good time here. Au revoir Vihari Fan!

Visit The Famous Macau’s Own Eiffel Tower
The Parisian Hotel Eiffel Tower in Cotai, Macau keeps it’s name very well by mesmerizing the visitors and giving them a belief they’re some thousands of kilometers away in Paris, France without any doubt. First the hotel itself has traits of French style, design, the Eiffel Tower replica completely blows your minds away with it’s lighting, foot tapping thunderous music, giant structure and it offering the best view of the hotel and of course Macau city from atop in the highest Observation level deck. The entry fee is very less, and the crowd inflow is organized for everyone to have a normal experience, though there is quite a lot of buzz when you reach the top floor. The night time visit is optimum for obvious reasons, you still have to choose a time before 10:30 PM, as the entry is closed by then. You shall take a pass after 11:00 AM in the morning until the aforementioned time, but the night show is too good to miss. You may also choose to visit the restaurant or shopping center on your way too.
Once you reach the top Observation deck in floor 37, the mood is chilling, pun intended, it will be windy and during nights it is pretty cold. Our anchor was filled with jubilation and enthusiasm that she was fine without a jacket to bear the cold wind, so did crew Vihari. Tell you what, we don’t mind that to give you the best possible experience on our cameras in high quality. Thank us later. The top deck is a bit narrow due to design of the tower, you should choose the best time when crowds are the least, so you can have your own phone cameras up for selfie pictures and enjoy the windy, musical experience.
The Last Vegas of Asia has a bit of French mix due to this half scale replica of Eiffel Tower. The hotel Parisian Macao is clearly visible in all it’s glory from the Eiffel Tower side. The city making the casino culture legit is a favorite destination for high profile customers from all around the world and this tower will enchant them for sure, as it was built for the very reason. Crew Vihari and anchor Karuna left our logo and brand print at the top level in paint and it was sweet of the tower organizers to let everyone do that. Thank you Macau.
