Mänttä-Vilppula is a town and municipality of Finland. The municipalities of Mänttä and Vilppula were consolidated into a single municipality on January 1, 2009. It is located in the Pirkanmaa region. The town has a population of 10,062 and covers an area of 657.08 square kilometres of which 122.61 km2 is water.Neighbouring municipalities are Keuruu, Juupajoki, Jämsä, Ruovesi and Virrat. The municipality is unilingually Finnish. Major lakes in the area include the lakes Ruovesi, Kuorevesi and Keurusselkä.

1. Ahtari Zoo Ahtari
Ähtäri is a town and municipality of Finland. It is located in the Southern Ostrobothnia region. The town has a population of 5,788 and covers an area of 910.87 square kilometres of which 105 km2 is water. The population density is 7.19 inhabitants per square kilometre . The municipality is unilingual Finnish. Ähtäri is known for its zoo and hotel Mesikämmen designed by Timo and Tuomo Suomalainen which is partly built within bedrock. The biggest lake in the area is Ähtärinjärvi. There is also a relatively old and small board mill called Vääräkosken Pahvi in Ähtäri. The largest private sector employers are Inhan Tehtaat, Silver-Veneet, Tankki, and Muovilami.

Viiden tunnin lounas? | Food and Art Mänttä

Osallistuimme Food and Art -tapahtumassa Mäntässä H******n pitkälle lounaalle. Viiden tunnin venäläistyylinen lounas ohjelmalla höystettynä oli melkoinen kokemus. Kasvissyöjälle ei ihan niin hyvä, mutta sekasyöjälle maistuva. Mäntän Klubi tarjosti tähän hienot puitteet.

Kävimme lisäksi katsomassa Serlachius Gustaf -museolla upean Paperiperkele-näyttelyn. Paperiperkele kertoo Gustaf Serlachiuksesta upealla tavalla. Ehdottomasti näkemisen arvoinen.

Majoitus Huoneistohotelli Mäntylinnassa, sisäänpääsy Serlachius Gustaf -museoon ja H******n pitkä lounas saatu videonäkyvyyttä vastaan.

Matkalla tutuksi tulivat Indonesia (Java, Bali, Lombok, Flores, Sumbawa), Malesia, Borneo, Kambodza, Etelä-Korea, Japani ja Taiwan. Matkan päätimme vuoden 2017 alussa Italiaan. Kävimme Le Marche -alueella, San Marinossa ja Roomassa.

Lanttimatkojen toisella kaudella tutustumme paljon kotimaahamme Suomeen tukikohtana Tampere. Esittelemme välillä myös ulkomaankohteita.
