Tiantong Temple is a Buddhist temple located in Taibai Mountainin of Yinzhou District, Ningbo, Zhejiang, in the People's Republic of China. The temple covers a total area of 76,400 square metres , with more than 38,800 square metres of floor space. Tiantong Temple is listed as one of the Five Chan Buddhism Temples. Tiantong Temple is the cradle of the Sōtō school of Japanese Buddhism.

The East Zhejiang Maritime Affairs/Folk Custom Museum is a museum located in Yinzhou District in Ningbo, Zhejiang, China. It is located in the Qing'an Guildhall, a reconstructed complex which once housed a temple to the sea-goddess Mazu. Originally built in 1191, the complex was destroyed and rebuilt several times. After its mid-19th century restoration by Ningbo's guild of Fujianese merchants, it was acclaimed as one of the most beautiful temples in China and was used by the merchants as their guildhall. It was destroyed in 1949 as the Communists were fighting the Chinese Civil War, and suffered further harm during the Cultural Revolution, but was repaired from 1997–2001. Tashan Weir also called Tuoshan Weir or Tuoshanyan is an ancient dam that was erected under Emperor Tang Wenzong during the Tang Dynasty in 833. The dam is located in Tashanyan Village, Yinjiang Town, Haishu District, Ningbo, Zhejiang, China. Originally designed under the supervision of Wang Yuanwei, who was the administrator of Yin County, in an attempt to prevent tidal sea water from accessing the banks of the Fenghua River and to store water during periods of severe drought. The dam later became part of a large-scale irrigation system serving Ningbo City. This infrastructure is particularly notable because it is recognized as a historical site protected by the state.

The City of NINGBO & Lake HANGZHOU - China - Travel Video

Ningbo was our first chinese city in northeast Zhejiang province. We had the chance to be in a not very touristic city but with a lot to see. In this city we could visit the 3rd oldest library still functional and also the food is incredible!
After our days in Ningbo we went to Hangzhou lake to see one very famous pagoda.
