I arrived in San Juan, Puerto Rico early in the morning and headed straight to the Intercontinental San Juan to check in and to show you my club level suite. My suite is huge!
From their I grabbed a quick 15 minute uber ride east to Piñones. This area has one road and their are tons of restaurants and kioskos (traditional huts) where they serve authentic Puerto Rican street food.
My first stop was at Donde Olga Bar & Restaurant to try a Bacalaito which is a salted cod pancake fritter and a Alcapurria which is fried green banana stuffed with crab or beef. Both of these Puerto Rican street foods are must tries when you visit Puerto Rico!
Next we walked over to El Barriles Restaurant to try some Mofongo with Seafood! Mofongo is fried plantain mash with seafood. This is the star of Puerto Rican street food dishes. It is so yummy mixed in with the seafood!
On our way to our next stop I stumbled on Ostiones Vivos Kiosko. This is a small hut serving local Puerto Rican ostras or oysters! They are small bite sized oysters but if you like oysters you will love them!
Our final stop is Sabores de Piñones where I tried two local specialities, Pionono is a stuffed fried plantain stuffed with beef and a Rellenos de Papa which is a fried mash potato stuffed with ground beef.
I think the Pionono was my favorite because it was so sweet but the Bacalaito and Mofogo were off the chain!
Big thanks to my friends at the Intercontinental San Juan:

Brazil - Beautiful travel destinations & beaches
Brazil is the largest country in South America and offers beautiful destinations. Cities like Rio de Janeiro or Salvador have to be seen. Great natural sites are the dunes of Lençóis Maranhenses, the species-rich swampland of Pantanal or the breathtaking Iguazu Falls. To relax, Brazil has the most beautiful beaches in the world. Ilha Grande, Buzios, Ilha de Boipeba, Morro de Sao Paulo and Praia do Forte are just a few of them.

Lote 23 is a food truck center with 15 food trucks and two are dedicated truck bars. We walked around and sampled from four different food trucks.
We started off with some chorizo french fries from Bayard, then we got some tacos from Sr Bigotes, next we hit up Alcapurria Quema and got a Fiambrera and lastly I got a pernil sandwich from La Pernileria.
Everything was so delicious but my favorite was forsure that pernil sandwich. I also tried some very strong beer at La Pernileria.

Top 6 BEST Drinks for Beaches [ GENUINE RANKING]
6. MARGARITA, MEXICO
Margarita - Top Ten Drinks for Beaches
Mix an orange-flavored liquid or preferably lemon juice with tequila and the result is a margarita. It is often garnished with salt on the rim of the glass and happens to be one of the most famous tequila based drinks all over the world. The drink is served with crushed ice and the chilling effect is absolutely amazing. Margarita is available in many different colors depending on what sort of juice is used but originally it is yellowish in color. This is the most popular drink on the beaches of Mexico and really popular all over Spain.
. DAIQUIRI, CUBA
Daiquiri - Top Ten Drinks for Beaches
Cuba is one place I would love to visit. One drink that is popular all over Cuba is called Daiquiri. The main ingredients of this particular drink include rum, lime juice and sugar. You can use an alternate sweetener if you don’t prefer sugar of course. There are many different versions of the drink but the most famous ones are served at the El Floridita bar in Havana, Cuba. There is a classic by the name of The Fine Art of Mixing Drinks and it is listed as one of the six basic drinks there. There is a cocktail quite similar to Daiquiri that is famous in Brazil; it is called Caipirinha (discussed below).
4. RED STRIPE BEER, JAMAICA
Red Stripe Beer - Top Ten Drinks for Beaches
You have not experienced the beaches in Jamaica if you haven’t had a few of these. It is a lager beer from Jamaica. Desnoes & Geddes Limited are the ones the brew this particular beer. Red Stripe contains 4.7 % alcohol by volume. Unlike all the fancy drinks discussed in the list, this simple beer is the drink of Jamaican beaches but just as all the other drinks, it is worth a shot.
3. MAI-TAI, POLYNESIA
Mai-Tai - Top Ten Drinks for Beaches
This particular drink comes from Polynesia with basic ingredients including rum, Curacao liqueur and lime juice. It is said though that the drink actually originated at a restaurant in California in the year 1944. A rival of the same restaurant claims to have created this drink in 1933 in Hollywood, but of course we do not have sufficient data available to put our fingers down. The word actually is Maita’I which means ‘good’ but the name for the drink is written as two separate words. Polynesia comprises of one thousand different islands and the drink is very famous in those regions.
2. CAIPIRINHA, BRAZIL
Caipirinha - Top Ten Drinks for Beaches
This happens to be the national cocktail of Brazil and it is made with cachaca, which is a sugar cane rum, sugar and lime. It is a distilled alcoholic beverage and needless to say, it happens to be the most famous in Brazil with popularity on constant rise in many parts of Europe and United States.
1. PINA COLADA, PUERTO RICO
Pina Colada - Top Ten Drinks for Beaches
The drink is sweet in nature, comprising of rum-based cocktail, cream of coconut and pineapple juice. It is usually garnished with a slice of pineapple at the rim of the glass. It is the official drink of Puerto Rico and has been the same since the year 1978. Non-alcoholic versions of this particular drink are also available, but let’s be honest, there is not point. The drink itself was created at the Caribe Hilton’s Beachcomber Bar in San Juan, Puerto Rico on the 16th August of year 1954.
