Valle del Cauca Part 1: One of Colombia's most biodiverse Departments

We explored the department Valle del Cauca on the pacific coast and checked it out on its potential for bird watching. El Valle del Cauca is another of the 32 Colombian departments, located in the southwest part of the country between the Andes and the Pacific Coast. The area is surrounded by Choco y Risaralda in the North, Qundio y Toima to the east and Choco y the Pacific Ocean to the west. Because of its location near the Pacific Coast, the area houses between 25 and 50% of the country’s fauna and 11% of the country’s flora.
The Valle del Cauca is the second most biodiverse department in Colombia. With over 725 species of marine birds and 100 migratory species, this is an ideal place for Colombia birdwatching. Get your cameras ready for some great Colombia birding photography as well and be sure to check out the rich diversity of amphibians, as the region houses over 130 different species.
The reign’s natural richness is certainly impressive, but it is also an important area of environmental conservation and protection. From the impenetrable jungles and the fast-flowing rivers to the infinite beaches and the most extensive mangroves in South America, the region is certainly one of the best things to do in Colombia for our nature lovers!

VENEZUELA ISLAND HOPPING | Adventure Travel Vlog 2019
Venezuela, a jewel in South America. This travel vlog is episode 4 of our experience as tourists in a country in a pressure cooker.
The Venezuela Crisis has been in the spotlight for quite some time now, and with an invite from a local friend Sandy, we set out to explore this beautiful country despite what it had been saying in the news.
What we found was an incredible country which took our hearts.
We begin this episode landing back in Puerto Ordaz from seeing Angel Falls in Canaima National Park. From there, my Canadian friend Sandy, who has been living in Venezuela for over 3 years, picks us up for a roadtrip.
We drive 4 hours north to the town he is living in called Lecheria, near Barcelona, Venezuela. We then go island hopping to visit Isla Faro, and that's where we encounter our first run in with trouble... Cacti and Snakes.
The outro of this video was re-recorded after the incident when humanitarian aid was stopped by Maduro at the border between Venezuela and Colombia.
Our hearts go out the the Venezuelan people. Myself and my travel companion Lexie Alford visited this beautiful place late 2018, with the mission to show another side of a country in crisis. We planned to show the beauty of the people, and the natural beauty of the country.
This is not a video about the current economical or political situation. This is a Venezeula travel vlog of what we experienced as tourists.

Trip to Ecuador with Patricio Fernández tour guide
Trip to Ecuador with Patricio Fernández tour guide - Ecuador & Galapagos Islands tourism
Travel Videos HD, World Travel Guide
Ecuador is a country in Northwestern South America, with a Pacific Ocean coastline, lying on the Equator between Colombia, to the northeast, and Peru, to the south and east.
Cotopaxi is the world's highest active volcano. Many cities and sites in Ecuador are listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Such cities and best known places are the Galapagos Islands, and the city of Cuenca.
Ecuador is the most biodiverse country in the world. Ecuador has over one hundred different types of hummingbirds and thousands of orchid varieties. Cuyabeno Wild Life Reserve, Mindo and San Luis de Pambil are all good places to see many types of flora and fauna. The Galapagos Islands are justly famed for their wildlife.
The Cuyabeno Wild Life Reserve is probably the best place to see the Amazon Rainforest in Ecuador, even though there are other national parks which are also interesting (such as the Yasuni National Park). It's a place of high biodiversity and nature lovers should feel in paradise. That's a good way to discover the indigenous communities of Ecuador and to eventually meet a local shaman. It's necessary to get to Lago Agrio to reach the reserve. Private transportation is made possible by the local accommodation, which is provided by eco-lodges.
The beaches in Ecuador are amazing, including: Salinas, Bahia de Caraquez, Manta, Crucita, San Jacinto, and San Clemente. They offer very inexpensive hotel accommodations, great food and friendly people. But there are also very upmarket establishments as well.
