Colombia Villavicencio 2018 Halloween #2
We had a bad experience in the hotel that we had set apart in Villavicencio, the night gave us an unpleasant experience that prevented us from fully rest that night.

The next morning, after searching the Internet for another hotel of the same budget ($ 11 USD), we requested the check out and went directly to the South American hotel; There we were assigned a room with a queen bed, private bathroom and balcony, much better than the one we had requested, this because of our Genius concordance on Booking.com.
In the afternoon we went to Restrepo Meta but we could not take shots due to the weather, it rained all afternoon. A little frustrated by the weather, in the evening we returned to Villavicencio to take some shots in the area on August 7 where the university students and young people meet to share and celebrate with Halloween night.
That night in the new hotel: Suramericano we were able to fully rest without having the surprise that the previous hotel gave us with its Headwalkers.
We wait in 15 days to return to Medellin Colombia city that we yearn more and more and return to the Lleras Park and its nightlife in Medellin, we know that our followers also want to know more about Medellin.

Colombian Llanos Cowboy Land - Traveling Colombia

Welcome to Colombia
I drove to Casanare and Meta, two departments that make up part of the Llanos Colombia region. This region is known as the Cowboy Land of Colombia. It limits with Venezuela to the east. Its culture focuses on the raising of cattle, that's why its music carries with a wide tradition of harp and cowboy life. In this area you will find unique tourist attractions that are nowhere else in the world, as Caño Cristales, also known as the Rainbow River, habitat of pink dolphins; the Bio-park Los Ocarros, and the Natural National Park El Tuparro. Because of its rugged air, it is largely undiscovered by tourists and is thus one of my favorite places to visit. You can arrive to Llanos Orientales by car thanks to the Vía Llanos or by plane arriving to Villavicencio's airport. If you like horse riding, animals, and have always wanted to live the cowboy life, the Colombian Llanos is the place for you. And don't miss out the Colombia safari!

This time we visited Villavicencio, which also has its Pink zone area, as well as Medellin: Parque Lleras in El Poblado or in Bogotá we would be talking about 93 street Park (Parque de la 93) in the area of El Chicó neighborhood.
In Villavicencio it is called El 7 de Agosto which is approximately 3 blocks down a street where university students meet to have a good time in the company of friends, in order to talk, dance and have fun.
Villavicencio is the most important commercial center in the Llanos Orientales (Eastern plains). It has a warm and humid climate, with average temperatures of 28 °C and 30 °C.2 It is affectionately called Villavo la bella; situated to the east of the Andes mountains. Villavicencio is also called La Puerta al Llano, or The Gateway to the Plains, due to its location on the historical path from the Colombian interior to the vast savannas that lie between the Andes range and the Amazon rainforest.
Villavicencio's proximity to huge mountains and great plains make the city an example of Colombia's geodiversity. Because it is located in the foothills of the Andes, the morning and evening breezes cool the city, which is very hot for most of the day.
