    Eigerøy Lighthouse is a coastal lighthouse located at the small island of Midbrødøya which is located immediately west of the island of Eigerøya in Eigersund municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. It was established in 1854 and automated in 1989.This was Norway's first cast iron lighthouse, and its success encouraged the building of many more on the Norwegian coastline. The light sits at an elevation of 46.5 metres above sea level, sitting atop a 32.9-metre tall tower. The light emits three white flashes every 30 seconds. The light uses a 1st order Fresnel lens and produces a 3,905,000-candela light. The light can be seen from all directions for up to 18.8 nautical miles .The tower is attached to a 2-story service building. The lighthouse is painted red with one white horizontal band...

    Tungenes Lighthouse is a coastal lighthouse located in the municipality of Randaberg in Rogaland county, Norway. The lighthouse is situated at the north end of the Tungenes headland on the tip of Stavanger Peninsula just to the north of the city of Stavanger. The lighthouse is no longer in use, but it is used as a fine arts center and lighthouse/maritime museum. There is also a cafe in one of the buildings. Historically, the lighthouse was the main light marking the entrance to the Byfjorden, the main fjord leading to the important city of Stavanger.

    Obrestad is a very small farming village in Hå municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. The village is located in the district of Jæren on the shore of the North Sea, about 4 kilometres west of the village of Nærbø. A harbour was constructed in Obrestad in 1874 and it is still in use. The Obrestad Lighthouse was built in 1873, about 900 metres northwest of the harbour. A sea rescue station for seafarers was established at Obrestad in 1854. It was in use until 1977.

  • 4. Kvassheim Lighthouse Ha Municipality
    Kvassheim Lighthouse is a coastal lighthouse located on the beach at Kvassheim in Hå municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. The lighthouse is located about 2.5 kilometres south of the village of Vigrestad. The original building was established in 1912 and automated in 1984. In 1990, the lighthouse was replaced with a smaller, automated lighthouse located about 70 metres to the west of the old building. The old building is now used as a museum and landmark.The present lighthouse is on a 9.3-metre tall concrete post that is painted with red and white horizontal bands. The light on top sits at an elevation of 11.7 metres above sea level. The 26,400-candela light emits a white, red, or green light occulting twice every 8 seconds.

    Lista is a former municipality in Vest-Agder county in Norway. The 193-square-kilometre municipality existed from 1838 until its dissolution in 1965. The administrative centre was the village of Vanse where Vanse Church is located. Lista municipality was historically known as the municipality of Vanse until 1911. The former municipality's land is now located in the present-day municipality of Farsund. Farsund Airport, Lista is located here, but it has not had any regularly scheduled commercial flights since 1999; however, there are discussions to use it as a base for offshore operations. Lista is located on a large peninsula along the Listafjorden and is home to the villages of Vestbygd and Vanse and the town of Farsund.
