Rainbow Beach is on the northern tip of the Sunshine Coast in Qld. It is a 2.5 hour drive north from Brisbane.
The Rainbow Beach Holiday Village is a Top Tourist park offering 10% discount for Top Tourist members.
The park has a beautiful pool, BBQ areas, powered sites, water, bins amenities and a dump point.
Free Wifi is also available.
The park is pet friendly.
The sites at the front offer ocean views.
Cost to stay is $43 for a front ocean view powered site.
Our stay was 26th April to 1st May 2018
178. Midskinrick Lodge & Camping, Rosedale Qld
Situated 1 hour north of Bundaberg and an hour south of Agnes Water/ 1770 in Queensland is this fabulous Campground right on Baffle Creek.
The Campground owners Doug & Di are fantastic as well as Bill who works there. They will certainly look after you.
There are 2 campgrounds, the one beside Baffle Creek is set on 10 acres so there's plenty of space and fire pits on each site.
Kangaroos roam the area and can be seen most of the time.
You will have midges and possibly mosquitos so bring your insect repellent.
The fishing is great, especially if you have a boat. If not, you can catch fish by the boat ramp.
The Campground is pet friendly.
I had good Telstra coverage but no Vodafone.
The cost to stay is $7.50 per person per night. Powered sites are available for an extra $5 per night or if you use your air conditioning it's an extra $10 per night.
Our stay was 22-23rd May 2018

New to my channel? Hi, I'm Josh Rimer - a gay travel vlogger/YouTuber (often referred to as an influencer) and TV host/producer! I visit a new gay-friendly destination every 2 weeks with my boyfriend Heath and we bring you along with us on our trips to help you figure out where you might like to go too!
Every Tuesday I upload a Travel Tuesday video where I show you everything we experienced during a day of our visit including the hotel, restaurants, and attractions. See the previous ones at
Every Thursday I upload a Hotel Hangout video from our hotel room where I tell you a story, collaborate with an LGBTQ local, or play a game with my boyfriend. See those at
I also have a 3 minute video called The Travel Tidbit which airs every day on OUTtv during (or in between) their regular programming. That TV channel reaches 1.2 million Canadians so if you live in Canada too you might have seen our travels during shows like RuPaul's Drag Race when my video takes over an entire commercial break! They also upload those on their YouTube channel at
Everything in this video was shot on my iPhone X! I'm a Team TELUS Advocate so they've got me covered with great gear and plans to document my travels and stay connected when I'm on the go!
