Warragul is a town in Victoria, Australia, 102 kilometres east-southeast of Melbourne. Warragul lies between the Strzelecki Ranges to the south and the Mount Baw Baw Plateau of the Great Dividing Range to the north. The town is named after an Aboriginal word meaning wild dog. As at the 2016 census, the town had a population of 14,276 people. Warragul forms part of a larger urban area that includes nearby Drouin that had an estimated population of 35,353 at June 2016. Moonlit Sanctuary Wildlife Conservation Park is a 25-acre biopark within the Pearcedale Conservation Park located at Pearcedale on the Mornington Peninsula near Melbourne, Australia. It aims to display the fauna that was found in the Mornington Peninsula and Western Port Biosphere Reserve prior to European settlement as well as working towards the recovery of threatened Australian fauna. The park is open all year except on Christmas Day. The sanctuary, as part of Pearcedale Conservation Park, is an institutional member of the Zoo and Aquarium Association . It is ECO Certified at the Ecotourism level by Ecotourism Australia.

Warragul parkrun - Free Weekly 5km Timed Run DONT FORGET YOUR BARCODE !!!

Was good to get out to Warragul parkrun this morning to get a video for their course.
Going to look at recording a video for all of parkrun next time to see how that goes instead of video timelapse video or just all time lapse, it'll allow for more slow motion effects in videos to come !!!!

A brief history of Haunted Hills Road, Newborough

The Haunted Hills are located on the Eastern side of Latrobe City, just after Moe. The Haunted Hills boast a story unique to our area alone.

It has a rich history affecting towns as far as Lakes Entrance and the snow fields. The haunted hills road was the main land route from Lakes Entrance to Melbourne. Travelers were forced to take the highroad due to the swamp between Koo Wee Rup and Moe. The swamp was drained after the railway was put through the haunted hills in 1879.

The Haunted Hills has a ghost story, some say this is a criminal conspiracy.
