Pilgrimage to Spain & Italy: Sacred Sites in Southern Europe
Ananda Travels invites you to experience historical and holy sites, and walk where saints walked. On this extraordinary trip you will experience the deep vibrations of early monasteries, ancient convents, museums, opulent palaces and antique castles; places of spiritual, historical and artful inspiration.
A special highlight will be a visit to Seville for the once-a-year opening of the tomb of the great Saint Ferdinand III. We have reason to believe that this saint is an earlier incarnation of Paramhansa Yogananda.
With its winding medieval streets, Roman ruins, and sacred shrines, Assisi has been a major pilgrimage destination for many centuries. You will visit the Portziuncola, Santa Chiara, Minerva Temple & Museum, the Basilica of St. Francis and San Damiano.

Please bless all my brothers and sisters in Christ abundantly who have not seen this Holy Place but believe through the eyes of their faith and love. Amen.
Rome Trip 27-28-29/10/2017
Ho intrapreso un viaggio a Roma per motivi familiari e ho sfruttato l'occasione per farne un video. Lo so... manca l'Anfiteatro Flavio e tante altre cose, ma mi andava troppo di farlo ed eccolo qua!
Some Catholic Sites and Spots in Rome
No where else than in Rome you can find so many reminders of the history of the Catholic Church and so many beautiful churches and monuments. And much of Rome is easy to walk. Many of these locations are within 10-20 blocks of one another, so if you pace yourself (perhaps stop for a cup of cappuccino along the way) you can easily visit many of these places on foot. Of course if you are with an organized tour they will probably provide your own private transportation. Check in advance to find out--especially if you have mobility problems--but don't let that keep you away.
A word of warning if you plan to contract with a local tour guide in Rome. Some guides are excellent and some are very poor. In addition, some can be quite anti-Catholic. Comments such as these items were stolen from.....and brought to Rome or the use of the word legend rather than tradition will give the traveler a biased and in-accurate experience. Be sure to check out any company and/or tour guide in advance as much as possible.
And, be aware, that Italy has strict licensing laws concerning guides. A guide might be licensed for Assisi, but not Rome, or vice-versa. If you use an unlicensed guide and he gets stopped by the authorities, your tour might come to an abrupt halt!
In this video we take a sneak preview for instance to Santa Maria di Loretoption, Santi Cosma e Damiano, Virgin Maria's Statue, Chiesa di San Giacomo in Augusta and Chiesa di Gesù e Maria.
