Eden Bar - Farson, Wyoming
The Eden Bar, as best I can tell, is actually located in Farson, Wyoming. According to all my mapping software Eden Bar is located about 7 kilometres from the town of Eden itself. Maybe somebody out there can clarify this for me? Either way, it appears that Eden and Farson are adjacent to each other on US Highway 191 with populations of about 300, each, at the time I made this recording in 2012. It seemed like a nice area that I hope to visit and video record again someday soon!

CDT Thru Hike 2018 Ep 17 - Steamboat Springs to Encampment - That New State Smell
That New State Smell - In this episode of my Continental Divide Trail Thru Hike Documentary, I hike from Steamboat Springs to Encampment. It's an 88 mile hike over 2 half days and 2 full days. Colorado is now complete and I enter Wyoming on day 89. About 1500 miles in now, and officially halfway to Canada! Colorado had some nice scenery left up its sleeve at the end with the Mt. Zirkel Wilderness. In Wyoming, I enter the Medicine Bow National Forest and leave the high mountains behind for a while. Time to enjoy that new state smell.
