यह स्थान श्रावस्ती से 2 km दूर पर ईट मिटटी के पहाड़ी के आकार का विशाल स्तूप के रूप में स्तिथ है, जो आज कल ओंडाझार कहा जाता है |
चीनी यात्री फाहयान के अनुसार यही पर 500 अंधे बौद्ध भिछुओ को महात्मा बुद्ध ने दृष्टी प्रदान की थी |
यहाँ की लोगो में किम्वदंती है कि महाराजा सुहेलदेव एक विशाल गगनचुंबी राजभवन का निर्माण करा रहे थे ताकि उस पर चढ़ कर यही से अयोध्या के दर्शन कर सके | इस निर्माण कार्य में जो मिटटी टोकरी में रह जाती थी सायंकाल में मजदूर इशी स्थान पे झाड़ते थे , जिससे झाड़ते झाड़ते मिटटी का एक बड़ा सा टीला बन गया और इसका नाम झौआझार या ओडाझार रखा गया |
