In 2005, Sonthofen was awarded Alpenstadt des Jahres . The town has 21,300 inhabitants . Sonthofen is widely known for its milk and cheese products and as a tourist destination.

    Ulm Minster is a Lutheran church located in Ulm, State of Baden-Württemberg . Until the eventual completion of Sagrada Familia in Barcelona, Catalonia, it will remain the tallest church in the world, and the 5th tallest structure built before the 20th century, with a steeple measuring 161.5 metres .Although sometimes referred to as Ulm Cathedral because of its great size, the church is not a cathedral as it has never been the seat of a bishop.
