Podkarpackie Voivodeship or Podkarpackie Province , also known as Subcarpathian Voivodeship or Subcarpathia Province, is a voivodeship, or province, in extreme-southeastern Poland. Its administrative capital and largest city is Rzeszów. . The voivodeship was created on 1 January 1999 out of the former Rzeszów, Przemyśl, Krosno and Tarnów and Tarnobrzeg Voivodeships, pursuant to the Polish local-government reforms adopted in 1998. 1. Tarnica Mountain Ustrzyki Gorne
Tarnica is a peak in the Bieszczady Mountains in southern Poland. Its height is 1,346 metres. It is one of the Polish Crown Peaks. The summit towers 500 metres above the Wołosatka Valley. It can be easily told apart from its neighbours by its distinctive shape. The mountain has two separate summits, one of 1,339 and one of 1,346 metres. The southern part is a steep rocky wall, while the other side consist of less steep rocky fields.

Gmina Cisna is a rural gmina in Lesko County, Subcarpathian Voivodeship, in south-eastern Poland, on the Slovak border. Its seat is the village of Cisna, which lies approximately 30 kilometres south of Lesko and 95 km south of the regional capital Rzeszów. The gmina covers an area of 286.89 square kilometres , and as of 2006 its total population is 1,669. The gmina contains part of the protected area called Cisna-Wetlina Landscape Park.

Krosno Travel - Krosno - a city with county rights - municipal district in Subcarpathian province and the seat of the county of Krosno, including the coverage areas of the ten surrounding communities at a much smaller population. Located in the Carpathian Euroregion, which includes Polish border areas, Slovakia, Ukraine, Hungary and Romania. The date of the first foundation charter of the town is not known, though we may presume that the oldest preserved royal document dating from 1367, regarding the sale of the Krosno aldermanship, was modeled on an earlier foundation act. Krosno, a royal town from its origin was not only an important center of economic life, but also a very important center of art, which focused on artistic patronage of wealthy citizens and the local gentry. In the city, whose fortifications were built during the life of Casimir the Great, and continued in subsequent centuries, contributed to the outstanding monuments of architecture, which fills the interior made on the spot - or brought in from outside - works of sculpture, painting and decorative arts. The exceptional importance of the city, often referred to as parva Cracovia little Krakow, evidenced by the fact that the figure of the panorama - along with several other views of the most important cities of the Polish Kingdom - located in the famous work of G. Solina and Bieszczady 2017 - Mati Granica

A video of my trip to the Bieszczady mountain region in Poland.

Bieszczady is a mountain range that runs from the extreme south-east of Poland through Ukraine and Slovakia. It forms the western part of the Eastern Beskids (Beskidy Wschodnie), and is more generally part of the Outer Eastern Carpathians. The mountain range is situated between the Łupków Pass (640 m) and the Vyshkovskyi Pass (933 m).

One of the locations was the Solina Lake.

Lake Solina (Polish: Jezioro Solińskie) is an artificial lake in the Bieszczady Mountains region, more precisely in Lesko County of the Subcarpathian Voivodship of Poland.

The lake was created in 1968 by the construction of the Solina Dam on the San River. It has an area of 22 square kilometres (8 sq mi) and contains 472,000,000 cubic metres (617,000,000 cu yd; 383,000 acre·ft) of water, making it Poland's largest artificial lake.
It is the best known tourist attraction of the region, with waterside villages like Solina, Myczkowce and Polańczyk catering to watersports enthusiasts. The lake's great depth, water clarity, and mountainous scenery makes it a very popular destination for boaters. Because of these qualities the lake has been nicknamed the Bieszczady Sea.

Starting in the 1970s the Wojewódzkie Przedsiębiorstwo Turystyczne (State Tourism Enterprise) Bieszczady purchased a number of vessels for the lake and established the lake's White Fleet. The fleet's main ships offer cruises on the lake.
