Trezzo sull'Adda is a comune in the Metropolitan City of Milan in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 30 kilometres northeast of Milan on the Adda River. The Naviglio Martesana canal starts from the Adda in Trezzo's territory. Trezzo sull'Adda borders the following municipalities: Cornate d'Adda, Bottanuco, Capriate San Gervasio, Busnago, Grezzago, Vaprio d'Adda. Trezzo received the honorary title of city with a presidential decree on 8 July 2008.

Drone 5k Video: Hydroelectric power plant Taccani, Trezzo sull'Adda, Italy

The hydroelectric power station Taccani of Trezzo is a wonderful example of industrial archeology. It is still active and owned by ENEL. Built between 1903 and 1906, it was created a real energy hub, with ten hydroelectric generators that provided an output of 10,000 kW and a section with four thermoelectric steam generators of a total power of 4,000 kW.

I shot this video on two locations, each 5 kilometers apart. The first location was at the top of a mountain. They call it the Angat Dam View Deck. It's the one accessible to the public. The second location was Angat Dam's base station. It's at the foot of a mountain. It's where you'll find the hydro electric turbines, major facilities, plants, spillways, etc. It's not open to public.

Assignment: Architectural and facilities (dams, plants, buildings, etc) photography with aerial and ground shots. This is a 3-day shoot. I used my Canon 5D Mark iii DSLR camera (with a Canon 24mm 1.4L ii wide angle prime lens) and DJI Phantom 3 Advanced drone.

Client: Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System (MWSS)

Locations: La Mesa Dam, Angat Dam,Ipo Dam, and some of MWSS’ treatment plants and facilities.

Deliverable for aerial videography service: 16 video clips will be submitted to the client. ALL are 1080p HD videos.
