Vetralla

Viterbo, Italy | Easter Weekend
I'm so grateful for the amazing opportunity to have spent Easter weekend in an authentic Italian manner. My classmate, Mateo, invited me and a fellow American study abroad student, Maddy, to spend the holiday with him and his family in his hometown of Viterbo- a short train ride away from Rome. Maddy and I were more than welcomed into his family and community. We experienced Easter service in the local church, a homegrown and homemade Easter meal, and just about everything that the town of Viterbo had to offer. This visit will always hold a special place in my heart!
Tourist Travels | Viterbo Vlog
So my class went on a site visit to the medieval city of Viterbo! First we went to a vineyard to see how the wine is actually processed and made from start to finish, then we went wine and food tasting (I must say it was some of the best food I’ve had in Italy) and lastly we took a little tour through the beautiful hidden gem, Viterbo.
