Dny evropského dědictví odemkly brány památek na Praze 1
Také Městská část Praha 1 se jako člen Sdružení historických sídel Čech, Moravy a Slezska připojila k už devatenáctému ročníku Dnů evropského dědictví (European Heritage Days). Milovníci historických památek tak mohli bezplatně navštívit zajímavé soukromé i veřejné památky, a to včetně těch, které nebývají běžně přístupné nebo jsou otevřeny jen příležitostně.
„Na území naší městské části bylo bezplatně zpřístupněno šest historicky velmi zajímavých míst: obnovený interiér kostela sv. Karla Boromejského, historické podzemí Betlémské kaple, kostel sv. Michala a bývalý hřbitov – zahrada – V Jirchářích, zahrada a koncertní sál Lichtenštejnského paláce a sklep s rytinou od Jana Slavíčka v ulici Úvoz. Tu bylo navíc možné zhlédnout poprvé od jejího objevení,“ popsal starosta Prahy 1 Oldřich Lomecký, který osobně navštívil podzemí Betlémské kaple.
„Jsem velmi rád, že každoročně můžeme veřejnosti nabídnout něco nového a neobvyklého, něco, co je přístupné a krásné i díky péči a nemalým investicím Městské části Praha 1,“ vyzdvihl Oldřich Lomecký.
Zájemci obdrželi v sobotu i neděli orientační mapu, která byla navíc ke stažení na praha1.cz, a zároveň v každém objektu radnice připravila katalog s historií navštíveného místa.
„Velké poděkování si zaslouží za zpřístupnění a spolupráci vlastníci jednotlivých objektů, díky kterým byl program Dnů evropského dědictví na území Městské části Praha 1 opravdu zajímavý,“ ocenil na závěr starosta Prahy 1 Oldřich Lomecký.
