Winter in Asahikawa, Hokkaido, Japan
Asahikawa is a city on northern Japan's Hokkaido island. There is a cable car that runs up to Mount Asahi. It is the location of the Asahiyama Zoo with its famous polar bears, cute penguins, snow owl and many more amazing winter animals. You can also take a bus from the Asahikawa train station directly to the zoo.
