Aspe is a town and municipality located in the comarca of Vinalopó Mitjà, in the province of Alicante, Spain. The town is located in the valley of the river Vinalopó, 25 km from Alicante city. The economy of Aspe is based on textile and footwear industries, as well as farming . Aspe is also famous for growing a special kind of grape, which is eaten at the stroke of midnight, every New Year's Eve, all across Spain. Those first sea cucumbers elaborated by hand with the esparto that grew in the adjoining forests, were the grounds of an important shoemaking industry that is located in Elda between one of the first Alicante, shoe production cities.
The series titled “Alicante pueblo a pueblo/Alacant poble a poble,” produced by the Image and Promotion Area of the Alicante Deputation, has the objective of bringing awareness to each of the Alicante localities in an attractive or intimate form, reflecting their particularities.

During the summer of 2012 I went to visit the Pyrenees with my photo equipment. Is really hard hike with more than 20 kilos in your back but I´m still fit.
All the images are from Aragón Pyrenees, in places like: Belsierre , Aspe, Punta Suelza, Basa de la Mora, Ibón superior de Barleto, Cañón Añísclo, Castillo Mayor, Valle de Aisa y Cueva del Moro.
