Post Office In Pie Town, NM (tr.u)
I mail three postcards in this ultra-small post office that's right across from the Pie Town Cafe. It would be interesting to find out how old the post office boxes are! This was on a Wednesday, but it was after 4PM.
Notice the sign near the end giving distances to Quemado, Omega, and Springerville. I had intended to end the video on the sign, but I instead took a picture. Very amateurish, and perhaps that's because I'm an amateur.

Pie Town, NM (tr.u)
Here's the inside joke to these two videos: the pie eateries have limited hours and days, and when my friend took a road trip both of them happened to be closed. One of the stated destinations on his trip was Pie Town. So, in order to give him a better understanding of what he missed--and perhaps even to rub it in--I filmed myself eating a burger and some pie. This video shows the consumption of Pie Town Cafe's New Mexico (Hot) Apple Pie, and the last video shows consumption of a burger. Both were delicious.

Gringos GONE WILD in TLAQUEPAQUE - A Pueblo Magico in Mexico
It's Maddie's sister's first time in Mexico. We make her try tequila, mazapan, elotes, and more!
►Get perks on PATREON:
For my sister's first time in Mexico, we decided to take her to Tlaquepaque - a pueblo magico in the GDL metro area.
While in this fun city, us expats show her a few firsts, including chile relleno, agua fresca, elote/esquite, shots of tequila, and De La Rosa Mazapan candy.
If you're looking for things to do in Guadalajara, Mexico, this is a great place to go! It's only about a 30-minute drive from the center of Guadalajara as well. We thought there would be no better place to go than in this city because there is the best food in Tlaquepaque, Mexico.
There is so much amazing street food here! From tacos to elotes and much more. There's a reason why Tlaquepaque is a tourism hub!
The most desirable, el centro part of Tlaquepaque is not very large and you can easily explore most of it in a day. While living in Guadalajara Mexico we plan to come back here often for what we believe is the best elote in Mexico! Make sure to go on an empty stomach, or you might not have room for all the delicious Mexican food available in Tlaquepaque, Jalisco, México.
Pie Town, NM (tr.u)
There are two pie eateries in Pie Town, NM. 1. Pie Town Cafe & 2. Pie-O-Neer Cafe
Where is Pie Town, you ask? Well, take I-25 south from Albuquerque towards Las Cruces. Hang west on US-60.)
This video (and the next one) is somewhat of an inside joke between a friend and me. I arrived RIGHT before closing, driving from Clinton, OK, so that's the reason I state I'll eat quickly.

Americans Living in GUADALAJARA, MEXICO
After two failed attempts, we FINALLY got to check out a local Guadalajara Mexico vegetarian restaurant! We give you a quick tour of El Apartamento, plus talk about whether the vegetarian food was worth the wait.
Later in the day, we go for a walk with our husky in Mexico to get one of our favorite treats, an Alegría. During the walk, we discuss the recent political campaigning in Mexico (just the campaigns, we're not talking politics, don't worry!)
We also decided to answer a few questions about living in Guadalajara and having a dog in Mexico.
Hope you guys enjoy another video about our life in Guadalajara, Mexico. These are by far our most-requested videos since people often wonder... what's Guadalajara like? If you're planning on living in Guadalajara, Jalisco, this video will give you an inside look at daily happenings and the atmosphere of the city.
Finally, if you have the opportunity to go to the Mexico vegetarian restaurant, El Apartamento, we totally recommend it!

1:92 BLM boondocking in AZ and NM and Dust Storms!
We started out on BLM land in AZ and traveled over the border into New Mexico before day's end where we found another amazing boondocking site that looked like we were on MARS! The dust storms all day looked threatening, but we got through unharmed.
