Ramsey Falls in Redwood Falls, Minnesota
Nicknamed Little Yellowstone, Alexander Ramsey Park which is located in Redwood Falls in southwestern Minnesota is the largest municipal park in the state with over 300 acres of hills and trees the Redwood River running through it.
It features outlooks, playgrounds, ball fields, camping, picnic shelters, a zoo and magnificent Ramsey Falls.

It's official, we found our favorite campsite! Not just in Michigan but in the whole two years we've been on the road. The only catch is that it doesn't have any hookups so we had to put our lithium Battle Born Batteries to the test this trip. We're happy to report they held up well and we can't wait to install solar so we can stay longer in places like this. This week we also explored some of the major sights in the Upper Peninsula, including the Soo Locks, Whitefish Point, Tahquamenon Falls, and St. Ignace! Road trip CA20 to Redwood Forest Lake Port Passion Play Mistletoe Tress Blue Lake Willits Gateway to Redwoods We are leaving my uncles place in Lake Port California and heading to the Redwood Forest on the CA-20. On the way we came by a place called Lake Port Passion. It is a gated community or area of sorts that hosts a passion play every month or so and is a really pretty place that is well maintained and has a really cool house on it. Not exactly sure what they use it for. All along the road and hills you see big Mistletoe Trees. I didn't know if grew like this and really think you could make a fortune if you picked it and sold it. We stopped at a lake called Blue Lake which is a very quiet calm lake and the water was almost still as could be. The scenery is just beautfiul along this road and I thought you guys would enjoy some of it. At the end we come into Willits which is the Gateway to the Redwoods.
