Valencia to Granada by Bus | Spain Travel Vlog
Join us as we travel from Valencia to Granada by bus as part of our Spain travel vlogs series. We kick things off with an apartment tour of our airbnb in Valencia, Spain which featured an incredible view of the central market. The place was overall good but at times felt a little small for 4 adults and I think would better suit 2-3 at max.

After a bit of confusion and disorganization arranging taxis to the bus terminal in Valencia we finally arrived and chilled out at the station for an hour before boarding our bus to Granada. The journey itself was really scenic but quite long considering it took 8.5 hours to arrive in Granada. Along the way we stopped for a quick bite in Alicante and the highlight for us all was passing through the mountains as we approached Granada and being mesmerized by all of the snow.

Valencia to Granada by Bus | Spain Travel Vlog Video Transcript:
Good morning guys. We are here in Valencia, Spain at the moment. We had a brilliant five nights here.
I think out of all of the places we've gone so far with my parents this maybe the favorite spot. And I think the big reason was because we had the Central Market. Yeah. Right outside. We're going to show you the views.
We're going on a long trip to Granada. 8 hours on the bus? Something like that. It is going to be a long trip. But before we do that we'll give you an apartment tour of our place here in Valencia.
We are starting this apartment tour right in the living area. Yeah because the best thing about this apartment was obviously the views of the market. An amazing view and don't mind the construction. There is a whole bunch of construction. They are renovating the apartment upstairs. They are renovating the apartment. It has been noisy in here during the day.
Without further adieu let's check out the views. I'll open the door for you.
We absolutely loved the market. It had a very local vibe in the sense that there was lots of produce and meat being sold. Prices were really reasonable. And we ended up going there everyday that it was open.
Right now it is ten thirty. We've got a bus to catch at 12 so we should probably head out the door. We'll pick things up again at the bus station before we board the bus to Granada.
Now we've got an 8 hour bus ride. Well yeah and I'm going to be sleeping a lot on this bus ride. I bet. I think we all are. I'm full as a tick from breakfast. Super omelet. You made us a huge omelet with all of the leftover ingredients. We're all full. We're not even picking up any baked goods. No. We're still digesting brunch. We're good. We're good.
We've been on the road a few hours. It is 2 and a half now so our first stop here is Alicante. Actually there was another quick bus stop but we couldn't get off. Benidorm. Apparently this is going to be our only stop to eat. We only had 20 minutes so I went and grabbed some stuff. Got some chips. I got some vanilla wafers. Cookies. Vanilla cookies. Iced tea. And then the best part is that a jamon sandwich. Oh those are good. A nice meat sandwich so we are all set. We've been eating lots of those. We're all set and that should tide us to Granada where we hope to get a proper dinner when we arrive. Yes, we'll be ready for that.
Alright guys. We finally made it to the apartment. What is it like nine thirty pm or 10 pm?
Tired. I'm already in bed. I'm under the covers. On the computer. I'm done. We're going to watch Star Trek. Yeah. That is how we're going to end our day. But we will have some more really cool videos we hope from Granada soon. We're going to make travel food content and yeah we just need to rest and get a good night's sleep. Places to see in ( Valencia - Spain ) Parque Natural de la Albufera
The Albufera, or L'Albufera de València in Valencian, is a freshwater lagoon and estuary on the Gulf of Valencia coast of the Valencian Community in eastern Spain. It is the main portion of the Parc Natural de l'Albufera de València (Valencian Albufera Natural Park), with a surface area of 21,120 hectares (52,200 acres).
The natural biodiversity of the nature reserve allows a great variety of flora and fauna to thrive and be observed year-round. Though once a saltwater lagoon, dilution due to irrigation and canals draining into the estuary and the sand bars increasing in size had converted it to freshwater by the seventeenth century.
The Valencian Albufera Nature Park and lagoon lies just 11 kilometres (6.8 mi) south of Valencia, in the municipal areas of 13 towns and four pedanies (former towns) adjoined to the capital city, these in turn lying within four comarques or counties, namely, in Horta Sud: Albal, Alfafar, Beniparrell, Catarroja, Massanassa, Sedaví and Silla; in Ribera Baixa: Albalat de la Ribera, Cullera, Sollana, Sueca and El Mareny de Barraquetes; in Ribera Alta: Algemesí; and in the County of Valencia and greater metropolitan area of València, in the pedanies of Pinedo, El Palmar, El Saler and El Perellonet. Its proximity to the capital city of the Valencian Land and easy access facilitate nature experiences and birdwatching.
Since 1990, the Valencian Albufera Nature Reserve has been included as a Ramsar Site in the list of wetlands of international importance for birds, established in the Ramsar Convention of 1971. Since 1991 the Parc Natural de l'Albufera de València has also been included in the Special Protection Areas (Zepa in Spanish).
L'Albufera is heavily dominated by Cyanobacteria, particularly Synechococcus. The natural microbial population of Albufera has been recently described.

Places to see in ( Valencia - Spain ) Valencia Mercado Central
Mercado Central or Mercat Central is a public market located in across from the Llotja de la Seda and the church of the Juanes in central Valencia, Spain. Most vendors sell food items, although souvenir shops and restaurants are located inside the market as well. It is a popular location for tourists and locals alike.
In 1839, the spot had been used to inaugurate an open-air marketplace called Mercat Nou. By the end of the century the city of Valencia sponsored a contest for the construction of a new roofed market. A new contest in 1910 selected the present design by Alejandro Soler March and Francisco Guàrdia Vial, who had trained at the School of Architecture of Barcelona and collaborated with Luis Doménech Montaner. Construction began in 1914 and was not fully completed until 1928
The style blends a modern Art Nouveau style but mirrors some of the architectural influences of nearby buildings such as the Gothic Llotja de la Seda and the eclectic Gothic-baroque church of Sants Juanes. It celebrates the power of iron and glass to permit the construction of large open spaces, but still utilizes domes at crossings.

COZUMEL, MEXICO - This beach is AWESOME!!
We took the ferry from Playa del Carmen to Cozumel Mexico to discover the BEST BEACH as we travel Mexico.

It's our last day staying on 5th Avenue in Playa del Carmen. In our travel Mexico vlog, we decided to take the 400+ peso ferry to the island of Cozumel Mexico in search of the best beach near Playa del Carmen. We did have to deal with some tourist traps on the island initially, but we quickly realized it was a good decision to travel here for the day.
We ended up spending the day at Tequila Beach Club, a local place not too far away from the ferry that we found from a few searches on Google Maps. The basic package was reasonably priced and included a drink, snorkeling equipment, beach chair, and access to the facilities. We had an absolute blast playing on the ocean jungle gym, snorkeling in crystal clear waters next to tropical fish, and relaxing on the beach in Cozumel.
If you're wondering what's it like in Cozumel Mexico, we hope our Mexico travel vlog gives you a little taste of what this island is all about. Make sure to stay vigilant to avoid tourist traps on Cozumel so you have a great time like we did!

WHERE TO STAY in Playa Del Carmen: We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Lunata!
BEST BEACH CLUB: Well, if you're taking the ferry over to Isla Cozumel, we can recommend Tequila Beach Club. But if you're staying in Playa Del Carmen, we highly recommend Lido Beach Club - It has great drinks, food, and some of the best prices we've seen in Playa del Carmen.
WHERE TO EAT: We really enjoyed Carboncitos and Lido beach club. There weren't a lot of restaurants who treated us fairly, so be sure to stay vigilant if you go elsewhere, and give these honest restaurants your business.
WHERE TO PARTY: Tequila Barrel is where it's at! It's not a nightclub by any means but it's a bar that's full of energy, fun servers, dancing, and bar flare! Check it out in this video:
WHAT TO SEE (Day Trips): We highly recommend seeing the Coba ruins and going to the 3 cenotes nearby. It is an unforgettable experience! Check it out in this video:

Madrid Rooftops
I've just returned from a long weekend in Madrid.
I was really impressed with the cleanliness and space in the city.
However, the fast-paced living this majestic city offers is not my kind of lifestyle.
A visit to the Rooftop Terrace at the Círculo de Bellas Artes was the most memorable experience of the visit for me.
