SONGPAN THE OLDEST TOWN OF SICHUAN PROVINCE
Hello everyone,We stayed 2 nights in Songpan old town.Of all the town we visited, Songpan is my favourite town.(This is the entrance oldest building when you enter Songpan town by night).It is small, but yet there is western food serve in a few fast food shop and restaurant.Good coffee is serve in few corners too.(Look of Entrance to the old town by day)A few shopping such as clothing and so many fruits along the road side are up for grabs and it is cheapThe reason we stayed here is for us to see the Huanglong Nature park, the Mounigou waterfall and Jade Lake.Huanglong Nature ParkHuanglong has a many big and small ponds.At this time we were here, it is almost dry and icey.However, we still able to see the beauty of Huanglong nature park.2 nights was good enough for us.In Mounigou WaterfallThis waterfall is pretty and has a long stretch to walk down to see the over all fall.It took us about 2 hour from the start to finish.Walking up and to walk down back to the car park.My best moment in Mounigou Waterfall is the streams of water flowing between the trees.Jade lakeOf all this 3 nature I mentions here, Jade lake fascinates me much of the colours. No wonder it is name Jade lake.These are the most and best 3 things you can do when you are in Songpan.Of course, do not missed out the shopping for winter clothes.They are reasonable in price and quality. Just do not buy fake brand name bags.This is the place we stayed in Songpan. Songpan was the 6th place we visited in our China Tour (see We arrived in Songpan in the afternoon. We had still some time to view the old town. The old town of Songpan has still its city walls with city gates. Within these city walls you find some nice streets and wooden bridges. The town suggests that you are in the old China.
The next day we visited Huanglong National Park. Huanglong was declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco in 1992. Huanglong is known for its colorful pools and the nice waterfalls. And indeed, it was awesome.
On our way from Songpan to Huanglong we passed a pass of 3960m altitude. Just before the top we came above the clouds. The view on the mountains with the Xuebao Ding (mountain of 5588m) was fantastic. On the way back we got the same surprise.

The journey from Xiahe ( to Langmusi ( should to be a boring travel day. And you have to travel if you want to see something. However, it was a great day. Yes, we spent some hours in the bus. But the landscape was beautiful, especially because off the fresh snow form the night before. So, we really enjoyed this travel day from Xiahe to Langmusi.

【4K】Taking a tourism bus from Hongcun, Yi County to Huangshan City, Anhui Province.
We taked a tourism bus from Hongcun, Yi County to Huangshan City, Anhui Province, China on March 8, 2019.
Hongcun is a village of Huizhou architecture and was listed in the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage in 2000. Huangshan City is in Anhui Province. Huangshan Mountain Scenic Spot is located in the area of Huangshan City.

...Hours Later, At The Top Of Hailuogou Glacier Park, China
There are different walking/hiking options once you are finally at the top. You could head uphill past the Gongga Shan worship point, head in the direction of Glaciers 2 and 3, or downhill (then uphill) to Glacier 1 for better viewing. There is also a forest path down to the Hot Springs at Camp #2 which is where we were heading next.
It would have been a more interesting experience to visit in the dry season to take advantage of the hikes. July and August is rainy season and Hailuogou was only included in this itinerary because of proximity. If you've seen glaciers before, don't bother...
