Visit and Tour the White City of Ostuni, Italy
Ostuni is one of Puglia’s most beautiful cities. The brilliant white-washed buildings lining a hill has earned it the title of The White City.
Deliberately get lost in the medieval alleys and narrow streets of the old town to enjoy charming Ostuni (along with 1000s of other daily visitors).

The Island is a 4K cinematic film about one of the TOP Islands in the World. Sardegna's (Sardinia) name is from the pre-Roman noun *s(a)rd-, later romanised as sardus (feminine sarda). It makes its first appearance on the Nora Stone, where the word Šrdn testifies to the name's existence when the Phoenician merchants first arrived. According to Timaeus, one of Plato's dialogues, Sardinia and its people as well might have been named after Sardò (Σαρδώ), a legendary woman born in Sardis (Σάρδεις), capital of the ancient Kingdom of Lydia. There has also been speculation that identifies the ancient Nuragic Sards with the Sherden, one of the Sea Peoples. It is suggested that the name had a religious connotation from its use also as the adjective for the ancient Sardinian mythological hero-god Sardus Pater Sardinian Father (in modern times misunderstood as being Father Sardus), as well as being the stem of the adjective sardonic. In Classical antiquity, Sardinia was called Ichnusa (the Latinised form of Ancient Greek: Υκνούσσα), Σανδάλιον Sandal, Sardinia and Sardó (Σαρδώ).
Beach Beauties
Sardinia has some of the dreamiest beaches you’ll find without stepping off European shores. Yes, the sand really is that white, and the sea the bluest blue. Imagine dropping anchor in Costa Smeralda’s scalloped bays, where celebrities and supermodels frolic in emerald waters; playing castaway on the Golfo di Orosei’s coves, where sheer cliffs ensure seclusion; or sailing to La Maddalena’s cluster of granite islands. Whether you're walking barefoot across the dunes on the wave-lashed Costa Verde or lounging on the Costa del Sud’s silky smooth bays, unroll your beach towel and you’ll never want to leave.
Outdoor Adventures
Whether you go slow or fast, choose coast or country, Sardinia is one of Europe’s last great island adventures. Hike through the lush, silent interior to the twilight of Tiscali’s nuraghic ruins. Walk the vertiginous coastal path to the crescent-shaped bay of Cala Luna, where climbers spider up the limestone cliffs. Or ramble through holm oak forests to the mighty boulder-strewn canyon of Gola Su Gorropu. The sea’s allure is irresistible to windsurfers on the north coast, while divers wax lyrical about shipwrecks off Cagliari’s coast, the underwater Nereo Cave and Nora’s submerged Roman ruins.
Island of Idiosyncrasies
As DH Lawrence so succinctly put it: ‘Sardinia is different’. Indeed, where else but here can you go from near-alpine forests to snow-white beaches, or find wildlife oddities such as the blue-eyed albino donkeys on the Isola dell’Asinara and the wild horses that shyly roam Giara di Gesturi. The island is also a culinary one-off, with distinct takes on pasta, bread and dolci, its own wines (Vermentino whites, Cannonau reds) and cheeses – including maggoty casu marzu pecorino, stashed away in barns in the mountainous interior. In every way we can think of Sardinia is different, and all the more loveable for it.

5 day trip in the beautiful Italy
Our vacation to Italy was absolutely superb, we visited Bergamo, Selvino, Lecco, Follonica, Massa Marittima, Firenze.
In August, we landed at Milano Orio al Serio airport, where our gorgeous trip to Italy began. Our first stop was in Bergamo, a city split in two Citta Bassa and Citta Alta.
Citta Alta, the old and tall city of Bergamo, has offered us beautiful walks along the narrow streets paved with cubic stone.
Near Bergamo we visited the wonderful villages of Albino, Selvino, Lecco where we had the most beautiful panorama on Valle Seriana. We also enjoyed a wonderful mountain hike in the surroundings where we could admire the superb mountain waterfalls with a cristal clear turquoise water. We stopped for a few moments in San Pellegrino Terme, where the famous San Pellegrino mineral water is extracted.
Italy is a country with 740 km of coastline in the Adriatic, Ionian and Tyrrhenian Seas, we could not miss a few days at sea so we headed for the Tuscany region. Tuscany has welcomed us with the natural beauty of the region given by fields cultivated with olives and evergreen hills. Here, we have also experienced traditional Tuscany cuisine on farm restaurant.
At Follonica beach we enjoied the sea and beautiful waters, Follonica being awarded Bandiera Blu (Blue Flag) 7 years in a row for beach and seaside cleanliness. We also went to Castiglione della Pescaia, considered an exclusive tourist destination for the quality of the sea and of beaches.
After spoiling ourselves in the waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea a few days, we decided to visit Firenze, the capital of the Tuscany region and the place of the Italian Renaissance. The city of Firenze is recognized for its history, especially for its arts and architecture, being rightly considered one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Being the birthplace or home of many outstanding personalities such as Dante, Leonardo da Vinci, Amerigo Vespucci, Michelangelo, Donatello, Galileo Galilei, Guccio Gucci, Roberto Cavalli, etc.
The historic center of Firenze attracts millions of tourists annually and was declared by UNESCO a World Heritage in 1982, containing many elegant squares, Renaissance palaces, academies, parks, gardens, churches, and monasteries, museums and art galleries, of which the most important The Uffizi Gallery, which receives about 1.6 million tourists per year.
Michelangelo Square is the place where we ended our trip to Italy, a place that allowed us a great panorama over the entire city of Firenze. From here you can capture the most beautiful photos of Ponte Vecchio, the oldest bridge in Firenze, located in the lower part of the Arno River.
Our first visit to Italy made us fall in love with this country. Surely we will return to the Italian vacation.
