    A mountain coaster or alpine coaster is a type of roller coaster with bobsled-like cars on tracks installed on a mountain. It is similar to alpine slides where a low-wheeled sled is used to navigate the track, but instead of running over smooth concave tracks like the alpine slide, alpine coasters run on rails with up-stop wheels like traditional roller coasters. Thus, an alpine coaster isn't necessarily safer due to the jerky movements the cart makes as it navigates its way on a fixed track. Alpine coasters are undoubtedly slower than an alpine slide since alpine coasters have speed regulated carts that prevent a rider from experiencing the track at full speed.     Simssee is a lake in the Alpine foothills, Bavaria, Germany. At an elevation of 470.1 m, its surface area is 6.5 km² making it the largest lake in the Rosenheim district. The maximum depth of the lake is 22.5 m. It drains into the river Sims. The retention period of the Simssee is about one and a half years and its catchment area covers 59.51 km ². It is the last remnant of Lake Rosenheim, which stretched over the area at the end of the Würm glaciation.

    SC Riessersee is a professional ice hockey team based in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Oberbayern, Germany. They currently play in DEL2, the second level of ice hockey in Germany. Prior to the 2013–14 season, they played in the 2nd Bundesliga. They play their home games at the Olympia-Eissport-Zentrum. The club is the most historic club in the German professional league being the club with most German championships. Famous players who played in the club are the current President of the German Icehockey Federation Franz Reindl and Ignaz Berndaner, both local players and national players and Olympic medallists in the 1972 Olympic games at Innsbruck. The SC Riessersee has played in its history 26 championship finals, being considered today a cult club in German sports.
