Most Haunted Places in Michigan
My list of the most haunted places in the beautiful state of pure Michigan. It took a couple hours of research, but I believe that it is a pretty good list.

NEBRASKA WATERFRONT PROPERTY FOR SALE - MARIPOSA LAKE RESORT
Carl Sandburg once said, Nothing happens unless first we dream. It is in this entrepreneurial spirit that Mariposa was imagined. Spanish for butterfly, its' transformation from an empty field to a beautiful lake resort, closely resembles the metamorphosis of its' namesake. The experience brought to the table by the Overland Lakes team reflects a strong dedication to the pursuit of excellence. Mariposa, the 8th lake development in a string of beautiful resorts, will undoubtedly be the jewel in the Overland Lakes crown. With the first three phases of the development totaling 190 acres, making Mariposa the largest resort of the Overland Lakes. Phase One will consist of 26 lots. Sixteen one-acre lots will border the lake and Old Glory pond. Ten off lake lots will have lake access and use of all three beaches, and are our largest lots at two acres each. Phase two and three are beginning construction and additional lake front lots will be available soon. Enjoy the best of both worlds, a rural setting with easy access to neighboring communities. Located southeast of Central City along Highway 66, Mariposa Lake Resort offers 62 acres of water to enjoy boating, fishing for bass and crappie or just the place to kick back and relax. An outdoor haven to restore the soul along with lots of fun in the sun! Mariposa is surrounded by the best of what the good life has to offer in Nebraska. The familiar song of the Meadowlark, the soft mooing of cattle grazing in a neighboring pasture, the resident great horned owl high in the trees, the prairie grass waving in the wind, and the harvest moon that shines above. All waiting to welcome you and your family into the neighborhood.
The asking price will be adjusted after the sale of any individual lots and phase 2 and 3 construction costs.
Also see Timberosa for an additional resort development opportunity.

Heading East to the Midwest (Pt. 68) - Tropical Detroit, Michigan
July 13, 2015 - This afternoon I entered my 34th state, Michigan, and made a beeline to its grandest city, Detroit, where I will spend the next two nights. Why? Because I've never been there before, and I stayed at a hotel that clearly advertises itself as a fine hotel, complete with gated parking and bullet proof glass.
In all honesty, the hotel was absolutely fine, located in Corktown, in the shadow of where old Tiger Stadium used to be.
My first stop on my little drive around Detroit was the Joe Louis Arena. Home to the Detroit Red Wings, it is located in Detroit's pleasant riverfront district; across that river? More of Canada! Next up, after a quick drive through downtown Detroit, was Comerica Park, current home of the Tigers.
Shortly thereafter I realized I was hungry, so I drove to Canada via the Ambassador Bridge. Yes, there IS food to be found in Detroit, but I had other plans for the evening...
NOTE: None of this music is mine!

Called a pre-1865 historical re-enactment or a mountain man rendezvous, such gatherings are held across the country on a regular basis -- re-living the lifestyle and adventure of the American frontier. Many outdoor enthusiasts flock to the Mulberry River in the Ozarks during spring to float it…but during Autumn the Mulberry turns majestic, offering the perfect photographic outing! Horse drawn wagons have long since faded away from the American scene, but a wagon restorer near Botkinburg is making sure wagons of the Old West are kept alive through his one-man wagon company.
