Courseulles-sur-Mer is a commune in the Calvados department in the Normandy region, la Basse-Normandie, in northwestern France, 1.1 km from Graye-sur-Mer, and 3.3 km from Reviers. Until 1957, the town's name was simply Courseulles.It is a popular tourist destination not only with locals but also with international visitors who come to tour the Normandy landing beaches.
