Tufts University European Center, Talloires, France
Tufts University, Massachusetts, has a European Center in a former Priory, part of a Benedictine monastery that was founded in 11th century. A total surprise that we came upon walking the narrow streets of Talloires.
There were around 30 students present when we visited. Not only from the United States but other parts of the world. There's nothing like a total immersion course in French in a sunny, lake environment with wonderful food. Where do I sign up?

PROMENADE SUR LE LAC D'ANNECY (1ère partie) par Monique Moreau
Depuis le Canal du Vassé, au pied du Pont des Amours , nous avons pris place à bord d'une vedette de promenade en bois pour admirer les rivages et la beauté des eaux turquoises du Lac d'Annecy. Une balade fort agréable à fleur d'eau, tonique, rafraîchissante et vivifiante à souhait, qui nous a offert un panorama exceptionnel sur le Lac d'Annecy et de ses montagnes. From the Canal du Vasse, at the foot of the Pont des Amours, we boarded a wooden boat to admire the shores and the beauty of the turquoise waters of Lake Annecy. A very pleasant walk at the water's edge, invigorating, refreshing and invigorating, which offered us an exceptional panorama of Lake Annecy and its mountains.
