Miniature Railways of Great Britain The Alexandra Park Railway East Sussex.... April 2017
We have been meaning to visit this railway for many years, then we had heard that it had closed, thankfully the guys from the Hastings Miniature rly had renovated it and reopened it.As we were visiting the area we had to make a visit to the railway
Miniature Railways of Great Britain The Fenn Bell Minature Railway April 2017
On arriving at the Fenn Bell we were told it was only a all ticket holders day,but the owners soon found us a seat to ride this fantastic brand new 7 1/4 railway.
The guys have put so much time and money into it and it is not finished yet, they have some big plans for the track layout.
The railway shares the area set out as a zoo/Wildlife park which will be fantastic when completed.
All the children that rode the trains get off at the far station, they were met by Willy Wonka, they then went off to see his chocolate factory, all the children then returned with Easter eggs or other chocolate items,a very nice touch. The guard on the train was a very big white rabbit who kept the children entertained on the ride. All very well thought out.
Good luck with the railway and all other plans.i'm sure you will do well.
Fenn Bell railway running dates are at the end of the film.
Sorry for the camera shakes all filming is done hand held.
Mortocombe Railway at the Chilton Garden Centre August 2014
Not the best railway we have been too but still very interesting in that it has 10 1/4 and 7 1/4 gauges on it's track.
It seems a shame not more passengers were using the trains, tucked away at the back of the garden centre,no direction signs to show the way to the station,we had to ask where it was.
Many thanks to the members of the railway.
2016 Mainline Loco Weekend Echills Wood Railway July 2016.
Another cracking Mainline Loco Weekend at Echills Wood Railway.
Thank you to all the members for all your hard work.
This year we had a good selection of Southern loco's,I really liked the Schools and it was my loco of the Saturday,LOVELY! But where are the Merchant Navy and West Country classes?
Nice to see 2x Black 5's Double heading as well as two class 40's doing the same.
This is a must bring a loco to weekend so let's see how many we can get next year.
This meeting was put back by a month this year but still the weather was cloudy with some light rain showers in the morning,we did get a few sunny spells pm.
I have tried to film more of the loco's on shed this year,so I hope you like my efforts.

Drusillas Park Railway 08
Video of train journey taken on Tuesday 2nd December 2008. Information on this relatively new 2ft gauge stock has been documented and states; Although the sight of a large feathered crane is not uncommon within a zoo, the crane on course to land at Drusillas Park this week is perhaps a little more unusual. In preparation of the Thomas & Friends TM attraction opening at Easter, a large mechanical crane has been hired to lift the new train onto the track when it arrives from Germany on Thursday 29th March 2007. The bespoke Thomas & Friends train will be delivered between 1pm and 3pm. By the time it reaches Drusillas, it will have travelled over 400 miles by lorry from the Metallbau-Emmeln factory in Germany, where it has been carefully constructed over the past six months. Following the removal of Drusillas existing safari train ride, the 3.5 tonne Thomas engine will then be lifted by crane onto the rails, along with the passenger carriages, Annie and Clarabel. In the days immediately following, both the train and railway will go through a series of stringent safety checks. The new attraction is due to open to the public on 31st March 2007, with the official opening ceremony with the Fat Controller on 5th April. RMA Ltd have been commissioned to theme the railway at Drusillas in keeping with the Thomas stories. Once operational, the new Thomas & Friends passenger train will take visitors on a magical ride from Tidmouth Hault. As well as Thomas, Annie and Clarabel, there will be the chance to see James in the engine shed, Cranky at the Sodor dockyard, along with Diesel and the Fat Controller around the track. The Thomas & Friends train comes to Drusillas after Directors, Laurence and Christine Smith signed a long term deal with HIT Entertainment, one of the worlds leading independent childrens entertainment and rights owners. The project represents a £400,000 investment for the Park and will make Drusillas the first UK location to have Thomas as a permanent attraction.

Malden D.S.M.E. - Thames Ditton Miniature Railway
A video shot on a visit to the Thames Ditton Miniature Railway on Monday 29 May 2011. Despite the fact that the railway was open the day before there were many members of the public there with queues for the trains. Having tracks that accomodate three different gauges means a wide variety of miniature locomotives could be seen.
