Hello everyone...
Cave of the Mounds, a natural limestone cave located near Blue Mounds, Wisconsin, United States, is named for two nearby hills called the Blue Mounds. It is located at the southern slope of the east hill. The cave's beauty comes from its many varieties of mineral formations called speleothems. The Chicago Academy of Sciences considers the Cave of the Mounds to be the significant cave of the upper Midwest because of its beauty, and it is promoted as the jewel box of major American caves. In 1987, the United States Department of the Interior and the National Park Service designated the cave as a National Natural Landmark.

In the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest, east of Eagle River and Three Lakes Wisconsin, in are many small lakes tucked away among the trees. This aerial video was taken in November when the leaves are of the trees and nearly all the campers have migrated south for the winter.

Dodgeville, Wisconsin - At The Heart Of It All
City of Dodgeville is geographically located among sandstone bluffs, steep hills and gently rolling farmlands. The surrounding area is referred to as unglaciated because it was untouched by the glaciers that shaped much of the region's topography. It is also referred to as the driftless region because the absence of glaciers meant that no drift (or accumulated rock and soil) was left behind. Many people simply refer to this area as the Uplands. By any name, it's no exaggeration to say that the surrounding area is a feast for the eyes with its rugged rock outcroppings, wildflower meadows and prairies, wooded hillsides, lakes and streams, and rolling farmlands.
Stoney Creek Inn Des Moines
It is probably one of the most unique hotels in the Midwest. Not typically know as a major tourism destination, Des Moines has landed a true gem of a hotel with the Stoney Creek Inn. Sure it could technically be considered a chain with a few other locations around the country, but since this is the only one we've been too this is the only one we can speak for and Des Moines is lucky to have it.
