Germany: Oranienburg Palace and its Garden
Oranienburg Palace (Schloss Oranienburg) is a Schloss located in the town of Oranienburg in Germany. It is the oldest Baroque Schloss in the Margraviate of Brandenburg and built in a Dutch style.
The palace building dates back to 1651, it was erected for the first wife of the Great Elector, Louise Henriette. The native princess of Oranien-Nassau also gave the place Oranienburg his name.
This video mainly shows the palace garden, where the beautiful flowers were expecting us.

AUSTRIA: EXPLORING the WW2 Concentration Camp of MAUTHAUSEN, FULL TOUR
SUBSCRIBE: - Let's go visit the Mauthausen–Gusen concentration camp which was the hub of a large group of German concentration camps that was built around the villages of Mauthausen and Sankt Georgen an der Gusen (Gusen) in Upper Austria, roughly 20 kilometres east of the city of Linz. The camp operated from the time when Austria was annexed into the German Third Reich in 8 August 1938, to 5 May 1945, at the end of the Second World War. Starting with a single camp at Mauthausen, the complex expanded over time and by the summer of 1940 Mauthausen had become one of the largest labour camp complexes in the German-controlled part of Europe, with four main subcamps at Mauthausen and nearby Gusen, and nearly 100 other subcamps located throughout Austria and southern Germany, directed from a central office at Mauthausen.

Insider Tour Berlin
Known for their high quality tours, the Original Insider Tour Berlin are one of the oldest touring companies in the city and have been guiding visitors through the streets of Berlin since 1996. Their Famous Insider Walk, which runs daily, provides you with fascinating overview of the city beginning with its origins as a humble riverside village. In addition to seeing pretty much all of Berlin's major sights, you will also learn about its history from the opulent years as the capital of Prussia, through to the decadence of the Weimar republic, the horrors of the Nazi regime, and of course the period that the city was divided by the Berlin Wall. If all this sounds too much like a history lesson, don't despair: Insider Tour's amazing guides somehow get through all of this historical material while keeping it light and easy to digest. A mixture of personal stories, history and humour make for an incredibly informative but also extremely enjoyable experience.
After doing the Insider Walk where you will have gained a general sense of the city, we think it's then time for one of their more specialised tours. With tours covering Third Reich Berlin, Cold War Berlin, Jewish Berlin and Berlin Today you will get a much more focused experience than could be covered in the general tour. In addition to these great Berlin based tours, Insider Tour also offer day trip tours to Potsdam, Dresden and the Sachsenhausen Memorial located in Oranienburg, just outside Berlin.

Berlin & Sachsenhausen by Express Train
Depart the pier and take a short walk across to the train station to board your exclusively chartered standard train for an approximate 3 to 3 1/2 hour journey from Warnemunde to Berlin. While relaxing and watching the German countryside pass by, you'll be served a light breakfast snack. Upon arrival at one of Berlin's train stations, your local Berlin tour guide will welcome and assist you to board your coach. Your panoramic tour of Berlin will include passing by Bebel Platz, where below the ground level lies the Empty Library; remnants of the Berlin Wall; the famous former border crossing, Checkpoint Charlie; the Brandenburg Gate, which more than any other monument symbolizes the German and European reunification; the Reichstag government building; Berlin's Protestant cathedral with its Neo-Baroque interior and massive dome; Haeckesche Hoefe, a building complex built by Jewish idealists in 1906-07 with elegant ceramic facades, and which today symbolizes Berlin's new center having miraculously survived two wars; and the New Synagogue, Berlin's most prominent Jewish landmark. Stop at the Holocaust Memorial, the 'Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe', which is a central place for remembrance to the murdered victims and a place of warning. After lunch at a traditional German pub-style restaurant, start the second part of your tour heading for the infinitely more somber and one of the most chilling destinations, the former Nazi Concentration Camp at Sachsenhausen, a memorial just north of Berlin. About 6,000 Jews were forcibly brought here after Kristallnacht alone, and it was here that some of the first experiments in organized mass murder were made. The scale of the terror remembered here can be very disturbing, however, simply by visiting here you can help change the future; as Winston Churchill put it, the further backward you can look, the further forward you are likely to see. Return to the Berlin train station for your journey to Warnemunde. Note: The museums, archive and library are closed on Mondays, but the open-air exhibition Murder and Massmurder in Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp, The Station Z as well as the information center remain open. The order of the sights may vary.

Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp Tour Berlin 12 July 18
I did a tour of this concentration camp yesterday.
While it was hard to hear some of the attrocities that were committed here legally we are reminded that the peretrators of them were regular German men and women.
Any time tyrannic power can have this type of impact to a generation of people, it must be stopped before it becomes our history.
I respect the German people for presenting this history in such a raw and honest way, while avoiding the sensationalism of the perpetrators in any way.

Berlin in 5 Days — What to Do, See and Eat + Day Trips! | The Travel Intern
Berlin is indeed a beautiful city that marries its rich past and diverse present. Here's our adventures from the five days that we were in Berlin, including two day trips that we took to neighbouring regions, Potsdam and Spreewald:
00:16 - Scoot
Fly direct to Berlin from Singapore via Scoot! Highly recommend getting the long haul bundle meal too.
00:21 - Berlin Welcome Card
For unlimited travel and discounted entrance fees, grab a Berlin Welcome Card for tourists only. Super worth it, and super fuss-free too!
00:26 - Brandenburg Gate
This was once a symbol of division during the Cold War, but it now stands for and signifies German unity and freedom.
00:35 - Checkpoint Charlie
Checkpoint Charlie was the only point from which foreigners could enter East Berlin from the West while the Berlin Wall was still up. Today, you can take a photograph with the actors dressed as American soldiers for 3 Euros! Otherwise, you can snap shots but it might be a little tricky!
00:45 - Reichstag Building, Reichstag Dome
Up here, you can get a fantastic panoramic view of Berlin's city centre and learn more about the history of this building! Make sure to book your tickets to visit the Dome though, because slots run out very quickly. Don't worry, it's free!
00:54 - Mauerpark
In the summer on Sundays, everyone's welcome to a mass karaoke session in the amphitheatre. The vintage market also draws lots of people to Mauerpark, young and old!
01:06 - Mustafa's Gemüse Kebap
Touted as one of the best kebap joints in Berlin, you can queue up to an hour on certain days, no matter the season (yes, even in Winter in the snow..) If you're ever in Berlin, you HAVE to get one of these kebaps. Super yummy!
01:15 - Markthalle Neun
Enjoy a wide variety of food on Street Food Thursdays in Markthalle Neun, from mac and cheese to slow-cooked boar, to artisanal ice-cream.
01:26 - Kneipe Klo
Also known as a toilet-themed bar in Berlin, this bar has decorations lining the entire place that make it seem like it was made for Halloween 24/7! Warning: beware of jumpscares around every corner.
01:43 - Berlin Wall Memorial
Where the Berlin Wall once stood, there are remnants of border houses that stood in between East and West Berlin in the past.
01:53 - Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe
Home to 2,711 concrete slabs designed by American architect Peter Eisenman, its symbolism is open to interpretation, with the most common being that of a graveyard.
02:00 - Topography of Terror (Topographie des Terrors)
Once the most feared site of Berlin, it has now been converted into a free public museum for visitors to learn more about the history of Berlin during the Nazi regime.
02:09 - Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp
Just 35 kilometres away from Berlin, Oranienburg houses the Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp. We recommend going on the tour led by SANDEMANs walking tours.
02:25 - East Side Gallery
The longest open air gallery in the world that's free of charge and spans 1.3 kilometres.
02:35 - Burgermeister
This joint used to house a public toilet, but has since been converted into one of Berlin's most popular burger joints. Super juicy meat patties!
02:47 - Spreewald, Lübbenau (Biosphärenreservat Spreewald)
Take a day trip one hour out of Berlin to the cozy city of Spreewald. The punt tours are a must-do, so book that early! Also, don't forget to try their specialties — gherkins!
03:03 - Potsdam
40 minutes from Berlin, this is another day trip that you should take. It really felt like stepping into a fairytale! Check out Sanssouci and the Neue Palais (New Palace)!
Stay till the end of the video to find out how we felt and what our favourite experiences were!
Have you been to Berlin before? :-) Share your experiences with us!
