TRANSCRIPT
Hello guys, today we’re going to go to Conchal beach, one of our readers actually asked us to come to Playa COnchal and record a 360 videos. And actually if you’re going to go to Conchal, this beach right here is the first beach you’re going to see. We’re in Brasilito right now and you have to go through Brasilito to go to Conchal. A lot of our readers always ask us how to get to Conchal and this is how you get there.
First you have to go to Conchal town (Brasilito) if you look over there where the black car is, that is usually how you get into the beach and some times of the year it’s in bad conditions sometimes it’s good. If it’s not very bad you can go through the beach, if you see how that car is coming that is how you get to Playa Conchal. So whenever peopel ask us if you need a 4x4 or if you need a sedan, well now you know it’s better to have a mid size SUV or a SUV cause if you guys look that way you’ll see it’s sand and you don’t want to get stuck.
So the name of this beach is Brasilito and it’s mandatory to go to Conchal. Now if you guys go to that way over there that is where Playa Conchal is so that’s where we’re going, we just have to go up that little hill. What we’re doing today is putting the 360 in different locations on the beach and I hope you guys enjoy this video.
I’m so sorry for the wind, it’s been very windy here, it’s normal for Guanacaste in February. It’s always windy.
Alright guys so we are in the little hill that divides Brasilito from Playa Conchal. I’m sorry for the wind and the 360 camera doesn’t have a deadcat for the wind, so I’m sorry if you can’t hear me well.
So this section if you turn your view right there that’s Playa Brasilito and over there is Playa Conchal. Right now we’re in high tide, that’s why it’s so high so this is the view from the little mountain in the middle, if you guys want to come over here you just have to stop your car in the parking lot and takes like 3 minutes walking to get here but we wanted to show you kind of a high view of how Conchal looks like and Brasilito. So right over there you can see more people cause usually people go to Conchal because it’s prettier than Brasilito but still Brasilito is a nice beach.
Alright guys so I just came to the first section of the beach, this is usually the most busy section.
Hey guys if you take a look over here what I’m holding in my hands these are little shells so that’s why Conchal, Concha means shell so that is why the name of the beach is Conchal. When I was a kid there used to be bigger shells all over but nowadays people take all the shells home so there are not that many so that is how the sand looks here. And this is how the sand is all over, if you go that way a little bit you will find more shells.
I just want to show you guys all the parking spaces here. And if you guys flip around, this is the busiest area you are going to find a lot of guys trying to take care of your car for a few dollars, usually they charge like 2 or 4 dollars to take care of your car but these are the first parking spots, we’re going to go drive a little bit over there where we’re going to stop.
So this is a different location, these are going to be the last point so you guys can have a better idea of how the beach is, looks a little bit different like the more you walk to this side there’s less people, sand is pretty much the same. So over there is the main entrance to the Westin hotel so usually you see a lot of vendors and you can see people over here offering you massages for like $20 or something. I never got one so I don’t know if they’re good or not so yea if you walk all the way over there, its just like a lot of nature there’s like a little kind of a lake or mangrove right there that you guys can go and watch.
Alright guys that is our Conchal video, thanks for watching we’re going to go around and take some more so if you guys want to see more just subscribe to our Youtube channel.

Samara, Costa Rica Tours - Samara Beach, Costa Rica Vacation
Travel Videos HD, World Travel Guide
Sámara, situated along the Pacific Coast of Costa Rica's Guanacaste Province, has long been a favorite vacation spot for both Costa Ricans and foreigners. The town is rather small (approximately 1500 full-time residents, including close-by towns such as Torito and Cantarrana) with its main street leading directly to the beach. Sámara has a healthy mix of local and foreign residents and still maintains a somewhat authentically Costa Rican atmosphere. The largest expatriate groups living in Sámara are generally Italian, Canadian, German, and U.S.-American.
Tourism
==============
This region was popular long before the arrival of foreign tourists by locals in the immediate area for weekend enjoyment, and by weekenders and summer-home owners from the capital of San Jose. The quality of the beaches in Sámara and neighboring Carrillo made the area a high priority region of tourism industry development for the Costa Rican government shortly after the opening of Liberia's Daniel Oduber International Airport. Because the beach is accessible from three of Costa Rica's four international airports, influential business owners and well connected landowners were able to secure government-funded improvements to the highway and beach infrastructure earlier than competing tourism regions like Nosara and Guiones, providing easy access to the virtually pristine beaches and calm ocean waters.
Transportation
=============
Sámara is located approximately 35 km from Nicoya, the economic and administrative hub of the region.
Access to Sámara is via paved roads. The paving of the final 35 km of the drive, Road 150 from Nicoya to Sámara on through to Carrillo was completed in early 2006. Public buses operate between Sámara and Nicoya; express buses operated by Empresa Alfaro connect Sámara with San Jose. Air service is provided by Sansa Airlines to the small Carrillo Airport, about 5 km east of Sámara.
