Romainmôtier-Envy is a municipality in the canton of Vaud in Switzerland, located in the district of Jura-Nord Vaudois. The village lies on the Nozon river and has about 450 inhabitants. The town has a famous Romanesque church. The monastery of Romainmôtier was founded by Romanus of Condat, after whom it was named.The municipality was created in 1970 by a merger of Romainmôtier and Envy.

The property is known for having been Charlie Chaplin's home for 25 years, from 1952 until his death in 1977. It houses a museum dedicated to the life and work of its former owner, named Chaplin's World, which opened in April 2016 after 15 years in development.The manor is listed as a heritage site of Swiss Inventory of Cultural Property of National Significance.

The Swiss Vapeur Parc is a miniature park in Le Bouveret, a village on Lac Léman, Switzerland. It was opened on June 6, 1989, by an International Festival of Steam . When the park opened its total surface area was 9000 m² , but the park expanded and as of 2007, the park covers a surface area of 17'000 m² . In 1989, the park possessed only 2 locomotives . As of 2007, the number of trains running on benzine has sextupled while the number of steam trains has increased to 9 trains. By March 31, 2007, the Park has had 2'126'000 visitors. Every June the park is host to the International Steam Festival.

Une fois n'est pas coutume, c'est dans une ville que notre périple au fil du Rhône nous emmène, celle de Vienne, située dans la Vallée du Rhône à 30 kilomètres au sud de Lyon. On la dit riche de quelque 2000 ans d'histoire, avec plus de 40 sites et monuments classés. Ce qui lui a permis, depuis 1990, d'être labellisée Ville d'art et d'histoire par le Ministère français de la Culture.

Moi qui ne le connaissais pas, je ne suis pas du tout déçu, surtout quand on sait que j'adore tout ce qui est médiéval et séculaire !
