I am from Singapore, back then my grandparents travelled by a small boat to Singapore to earn for a living. It was not easy, after all their blood, sweat and tears, here I am, living in Singapore healthily. So, if you are from America or Australia or any other places, always remember your roots and acknowledge how hard your past ancestors have gone through those hardships.

Lotus Pond Market - Wholesale Shopping in China

One of the largest wholesale markets in China is located south of Chengdu's North Rail Station. The Lotus Pond Market or He Hua Chi (荷花池市场) seems to go forever. It's alleys, streets, and buildings all packed with shops. Many of the stores around the city get their supply from Lotus Pond Market. If you want to buy in bulk, or you're looking for a decent price, this is the place to shop. Just be sure to barter hard.
